Sky Hired a known Doping Dr.

Sky hired a doctor who was later outted as someone involved in doping.

    Subtle difference.

Sky hired a Dr who was the head Dr of team that had their number one rider removed from the tour some years before Sky.

This happened well before he Joined Sky and everyone knew who the Rabo Dr was.

Certainly you would have thought Mr Brailsford would have checked the CV of the man going to be responsible for the health of the most expensive team of riders in the peloton.

Your point is weak point at best and a bit desperate.

In cold truth, they knew exactly who they hired and would have checked his background and past history and only let him go because of the intense pressure caused by the Armstrong affair.

    JTL, he's a Sky rider.

It's already been confirmed it was from his time at Endura, so absolutely nothing to do with Sky, other than maybe they didin't do the correct due diligence?

    Next.

and once caught was kicked out of all team activities

your exact words "to my knowledge we have no such situation with sky?"

Like I said JTL is a Sky Rider.... Simple.

Cycling genius Brailsford couldn't work out that JTL was a doper before he signed him. If only he had consulted me, I could have told him.

Afraid I must add Brailsford to the list. What a clown that guy is.

I'll let you in on my secret doper detection method. It has never failed me so far.

When someone in their late 20s suddenly has a vast improvement and starts winning left and right, they are doping.

Fair enough. Deserves it for BB / CBB alone, never mind all the rest
  • What does this have to do with cycling? Please keep it on topic.
  • Who do you hate !?? She`s just spent all week on a bike on the telly. Deal with it.

So there was lots of outrage about this before Theo outed Geert, was there? Because it wasn't exactly a secret the team employed him. I'll answer that for you - No, there was no noise at all.

Sky don't do due diligence - There's a surprise. A team that's initial management was composed of people who snuck Basso out of the Tour when Puerto hit, people who worked on CSC when the team were utterly tooled up, other dodgy DS's etc etc (Riders trained by Ferrari)

Yawn. The Davina McCall issue is much more interesting, and has the added bonus of being something new to discuss. Please stop boring everyone to death and talk about something else, we are all aware of your petty prejudice.
  • C'mon TWH, the forum has spoken

Let's see Davina added to the poll

Seriously do you think it's all about being outed in the media  seriously are you that naïve.

Do you think life is played out in the media? You seem to,,,,,,,, when it suits your argument anyway.

Any one in that position and Hiring a Dr would certainly check his background and history.

" Let's not do any checks on the DR who will be responsible for the care of the most expensive cycing team in the peloton" said Braislford when Sky decided to hire a DR.

    You are seriously naive

You can Iain but the point will be lost. It's like arguing with space. No one can hear you scream.

What have I missed regarding Davina McCall? Is this some Sports Relief thing? Didn't she do this before with Miranda Hart and others? This is very important I MUST know!

Yes. She was doing it last week. A 500 mile cycle from Edinburgh to London, stopping off to walk up and down Skafell Pike and swim across Lake Windemere and finishing off running a marathon into London.

Apparently this makes her a hate figure to some. But give her a Grand Chapeau.

  • Well since I started the Davina thingy

It`s nothing that she has done this week that makes anyone hate her, that would be petty !

No, I can`t stand her because of everything else she has ever done !

Oh, and I voted Lance, strictly for the damage that he has done, and for the amount of times I have had to explain to non cyclists how not everyone takes drugs in the sport. Prick that he is
