The 'let it all out' thread - who do you hate the most?

What has that got to do with anything? Does it surprise you Vino likes him? Like I say, the majority of the riders do and there are many riders out there, even on other teams that will help him out massively - that is because he is so respected.
Re that particular LBL win - they are teammates. And Alberto went in there and did solid work for the team leader. Nohing surprising there, other than maybe the best rider of the last decade putting another rider first on his team.Contador is the Greatest0 -
Wow! So much hate for Contador.
I haven't read the thread but doubtless 'Steakgate' figures. I still think he's a fabulous rider who makes me want to watch what ever race he's in, unlike Wiggo whom I merely feel affection for as a person rather than as a rider.
I voted for Hog incidentally. Can't wait for his arbitration :twisted:0 -

Yeah tough day at work, these markets blow! Nm my points above, I thought you were having a dig at him being friends with Vino. I remember that race and it was superb.Contador is the Greatest0 -

Ha. You can add to that fan list the dickhead people on mountains that are there to get tv exposure with their stupid antics and lack of respect for the riders.

Every time I see that picture I think being hit by a cyclist must be like being hit by a 4 year old....
Fans are 99% of the sport. If it did nt have us, it would nt be anything...Unless they actually stop riders moving, I don't care if they're johnny com latelies or dressed as a furbee. We're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence

I'm fine if they bow down to 'real' fan's (i.e. me) superior knowledge, rather than sneering about sh!t that is plainly wrong.0 -

I always bowed down to superior knowledge. That's the difference . I still do occasionally.0 -
We're gonna need a bigger poll.“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0

Oh god, yes. Be a new fan but don't be an arrogant ass about it :P0 -

I'd say that post was up there for informed accuracy with the very first one you made on this forum.0 -

Yes, I'll join that - some of the rubbish I heard waiting outside Hyde Park at the end of the Olympic RR from people who had presumably watched a bit of Phil & Paul during the Tour made me cringe. Obviously we all started with no knowledge (and in my case it still isn't great) but like with anything in life listening to people who have next to no knowledge talking to people who admit to having no knowledge as if they're experts is slightly annoying!0 -
And what is the lesson learned?

Are you suggesting you don't get the same sort of people at races like the Tour? Friend of mine saw an American push her way to the front of the crowd on the Champs Elysees and then want to know when Neil Armstrong was going to be coming past.
Having said that, you don't get them at Roubaix!0 -
You know who the worst is?
You.
No, not you.
You."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Perfectly valid question. Neil is (was) jointly the most successful Armstrong when it comes to winning Tours de France. In fact, its a three way tie with that lesser known Armstrong, Stretch.
(Tour-related pish isn't the preserve of pushy Americans. I was just re-reading Geoffrey Wheatcroft's history "Le Tour" where he confidently asserts that David Millar is Robert Millar's son.)'This week I 'ave been mostly been climbing like Basso - Shirley Basso.'0 -

This has turned into a top quality thread!
Anymore pictures of Contador looking like the love child of Colonel Gaddafi and Doctor Spock? Or with really bad shirts and scary eyes? Talk about 'when airbrushing goes wrong'.
Made my evening. And I must say that Vino only having one vote confirms my suspicion of him being made of teflon in some Soviet laboratory. :PCorrelation is not causation.0
