CAS taking over positive cases in Rio (probably)

Ross Tucker wasn't always an Dark Arts apprentice. He used to believe in miracles. This is his Shane Stokes moment. So if the reasons for the dominance of both Kenya and Ethiopia are physical and physiological, then one would be able to treat them almost the same, because they are very similar in that regard. But for now, we concentrate on the Ethiopians and ask how it is that they have managed to dominant where it counts even though they have a smaller talent pool than the Kenyans. And I believe that there are two key reasons why they do:
- Administration and policy, which has created a more narrow focus and restraint than in Kenya
- Training differences...a rare 100% loyal Pro Race poster. A poster boy for the community.0 -

TBH he hasn't changed at all. He says that his point about training making the difference for Ethiopian athletes is "based largely on rumour and what I have read, because unfortunately, I'm yet to verify it with actual observation and fact". Then proceeds for several paragraphs on the subject...0

Kenya is as corrupt a country as there is. In fact, you could probably argue it is the most corrupt country in the world or at least on a par with Nigeria. So to think that Kenyan Athletics operates in cultural isolation of this corruption would be very very naive.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0

You've got to remember everything Tucker does is a means to his own end. He's a moron.0 -
here, Joel, wotcha gonna do with Your Man Betancur this year
We could do a PTP on whether he or Landa will race the least number of days before Jul0 -
Of course, Tucker's other immediate instinct is to deflect attention with a quick picture post of Mo training with some Ethiopians...
There's a genuine scandal going on, with actual evidence and stuff like that, but what he's really interested in is socking it to a GB star.Warning No formatter is installed for the format0 -

What he's really interested in is increasing his number of followers using top athletes and then saying 'I told you so, you heard it here first'.
He is one of the least reputable scientists I think I can remember.0 -

Hmm. My 2 year plan in my UCI game could already be broken, picking that waster and paying good money for him on a last chance saloon basis.0 -

That deserves NFA immediately.

It's Balham Hill. The image isn't showing the Burger King drive through for some reason though.
Moving back to Tucker, he hasn't replied so I'm assuming he's asleep or knocking one out at 6.72W/Kg.0 -
Sweden's immigration policy is really having a tough time at the moment, hey?"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Not sure actually, but it does appear to have been extensively used in the Eastern Block recently (yes I know...).

To be honest I think the Russians should be banned for 4 years. No ifs or buts. Clearly they have absolutely no intention of changing their systemic ways. Other countries to follow suit.0 -
It would be interesting to be a fly on the wall at the IAAF Exec council meeting this week.
To be fair, they're really caught between a rock and a hard place. There's no way Russia can be allowed to compete in Rio, but the geopolitical fallout is far, far wider than a mere athletics competition. On top of that, they're setting precedents now that a few other countries might be getting nervous about.Warning No formatter is installed for the format0
