OK, fark it, I am in.

Antur Stiniog- would be my preference, but only as part of the whole group thing so if there's not that much demand for it I'd be happy to do something else. But I hates me the climbs!

    So far for sunday stinny action;

    Roger Taylor
    Mark Prout
    Mike Robinson
    Alex Mansell
    Nigel Brogan

Northwind, need to add your name if you want to me to book a space on the uplift.

Just to confirm, I'm in for the Snowdon ride, but not the supergnarcore stiniog trip on the Sunday.

It doesnt have to be super death defying gnar action, there's 4 tracks there ranging from normal trail centre type descent stuff up to super gnar. Just think of it as similar to going up snowdon for the fun of coming down, but without the pain of going up. Yet you get to do it anything from 10 to 20 times
I am by no means a supergnar rider btw, just enjoy the downs more than the ups.

Count me out too, I'm probably getting a lift with Bails so it depends on what he wants to do, tbh we have uni trips there soon so I'm not too bothered, would rather ride penmachno!

I don't know whether I'm in or not. Depends on what Ritchie63 is doing. I presume we will need accommodation though...

Scottish people can talk like pirates too :(

Anyway- I'm a bit light on organisation just now but in theory, will be driving down on the friday and back on the tuesday, trying to squeeze in llandegla or lee quarry on one of the journeys, and probably will nip to CYB on the monday. So if anyone's more or less along the route from edinburgh to the late 1960s, and doesn't mind not being able to confirm dates until I get my act together, I guess there's a space in the car for a bike and a person.

Shall I book accommodation for Friday 5th and Saturday 6th for you?

I'd assumed it was too late for all that! Yes please, if you could that'd be great. Both of the hostels look bang on.

Good thing about booking into a YHA in a group is that when you get bummed in your sleep, at least it'll be by someone you know.

    Hmm, well in that case....

Tom, how anti-antur are you? If you're short of cash then I can live without doing it, but if you're happy to give it a go then I am too. Seeing as I'll have driven all the way over there....

Spoke to Fatfiend (Richie63's mate from Sheffield) at lunchtime and he's pretty sure that Richie will want to do the uplift - I've also persuaded him that he'll enjoy the blue and the red. So that should be 2 more - I'll confirm as soon as I speak to Richie.

Don't worry about the accomm for Nigel & Charlie, I included them in the enquiry to Pen Y Pass.

Does anyone know if a FF is compulsory for the uplift? I hope not because I don't own one!

Not much longer now, any more takers?? Yeehaa, you know you want to :)

Once I have the final list of names, assuming no one else jumps in tonight, i'll find out about payment and let you all know.

Full face lids aren't compulsory, any pads you have though i'd bring along as you'll probably want to wear them.

The accommodation's booked and paid for, we're all staying at the Pen-y-Pass YHA - see Pen-y-Pass
    The final list is:

Friday 5th and Saturday 6th April:
    Proutster
    lawman
    thekickingmule
    Bails87
    Richie63
    Fatfiend
    Northwind

    Saturday 6th April only:
    DodgeT
    mike_s14
Alex off of Epic Bleed Solutions
    Nigel Brogan
    Charles Prinold
    Spencer Burton

Coming up Snowdon but doesn't need accommodation as he's from round there, isn't it:
    YeehaaMcgee

Total cost per person per night, including breakfast, is £26.39. I know that some of you are YHA members, so I've booked us all in - and paid for us all - as if we're members, which get's a £3 per night discount.

So you all owe me £23.39 per night and then, if you're not a member, you'll have to pay the £3 per night extra to the YHA when you arrive.

Send me a PM and we can agree payment details - I have a very rich, Nigerian, uncle who just needs your bank account details

I'm a lazy cnut and CBA to read 11 pages to get up to speed. I will be in the area (well, Wallasey which is a lot closer than I am now) that weekend so can probably manage a day trip on the Sunday. Will get me away from the in-laws :)

So what's the plan for Sunday? Do I need to book anything?

    FFS!!!

It depends if you want to do an uplift day at Antur Stiniog, which virtually all of of us are doing, or to go somewhere else.

If its Antur Stiniog then send a PM to DodgeT and see if you're not too late to get on the uplift.

If it's the other, then I don't know, 'cos I'm going to Antur!! But speak to YeehaaMcgee & thekickingmule as they're the only ones not on the uplift.
