What colour is the logo going to be? Some colours will work better with some cap styles.

True, something white would probably be best for all the cap colours. Just some nice white text in a decent font (comic sans?) might be best.

I liked the simple

Cap: FCN - 1

if only because it allows later designs on arm warmers etc. with same theme.
Lycra: FCN - 1

I'm not in for a cap, but Dhope's suggestion makes sense. Its scalable.
You could even shave it into your beard.
Beard: FCN +1

Or add it to your shoes.
Clipless shoes: FCN -1

I'm pretty easy going on the design, with one exception. If the cap looks remotely like it might have comic sans anywhere near it, I want a full refund!

Indeed, I don't want to give drivers a legitimate reason to murderise me to death, and comic sans could be that reason.

FCN modifiers ie + 1 has my vote for futureproofing a full set of kit could result in epic scoring

The text will be "Cap: FCN - 1", on the back of the flap. I'll check the position as we want it to be visible under a helmet, so its likely to be at the top of the flap.

I'm open to font suggestions though.
