  • Well it's up to you: If you don't want it I'll remove it so it won't cause much confusion.
Rob can download it before so he can organise the demand/style/NoOfRequest at the end.

Add me too! Do we need 1 cap for winter and another one for spring/summer?

I have 10 for the summer. They are dripping by the time I get home; straight in the wash and a new one from the drawer. Just looking at the soggy cap sitting on my desk right now makes me think its actually a little grim to put it on again to go home in.

Other people in the office also find the fascinating. You can guarantee that once a week someone will walk over to my desk and start to ask me why I wear a camp little cap before their face changes to one of disgust and they ask me why it's wet.

As these are SCR winter caps, something like specialized's one with a fold down ear cover would be good if possible.

Will work out exact numbers later. I suspect that a few people might want more than 1 if they are of good quality and nice designs. Waiting for my test purchase to arrive.

Right-ho. The Walz cap arrived, and I have 2 reservations. 1st is that its quite thin. Great for summer riding under a helmet, maybe not so good for winter. 2nd, the actual peak seems a little flimsy. So, options are to go for Plan B or use one of the links above.

  • Nice looking caps and great find Rob, but as I tend to look a bit of a tit in any form of head gear, I'm going to pass.
  • The Walz caps at more than twice the price originally suggested with a custom design seems a bit much. Or am I reading things wrong?

I can vouch for the peak on the Walz, since I've had mine about a year and a half and it's seen an awful lot of use since then! I can also vouch for the moisture wicking material being thin, though; if I had the luxury of a cap for when it gets really nippy, I'd opt for wool, or possibly cotton.

    This needs to be answered.

Cant one of the companies be approached as if they can get their branding somewhere on the cap surely they can do a better price given that this will be quite a big order.

I know Vulpine was mentioned the other day. My cap has just arrived from them. It's still quite thin, but it's nylon rather than cotton, so it should deal well with adverse conditions. Nice detailing on the inside (lined on the brow to absorb sweat and outside (reflective stripe). Certainly no problem with the peak either.

It's not cheap (25 quid) and I know Nick has had some problems getting hold of them. However, he's definitely the sort of guy who you could talk to about a deal on a batch - particularly if they are Vulpine branded (just a neat little tag on the side with their logo). I don't mind dropping him a line to see what he says?
