Just ticked up to 52 secs. Armchair ride for the rest of the group. Paulinho doing all the work.
  • Respect to Contador for going for it. Sometimes to win you have to be prepared to lose.

He gets a lot of sh!t on here, but this is why he's still popular.

Finally, Harmon emerges from his coma.
    Eurosport are the total pits.
Dutch tv were live ages before this shambles.

This is proof that you only need one rider to light up the whole race; not that Purito or Valverde haven't been entertaining. Just imagine how much activity we would have seen during the TDF if Contador was there.
  • Got to hope Skys domestiques dont bridge to JRod group

He gets a lot of good advice too though. Rozzer has been telling him to do this for about a week now

I know. That what i was watching.
Harmon thought Piti was chasing the breakaway.
    Hadn't a clue about Bertie.

Meanwhile, they opened up with 15 minutes of chat.

  • Tiralongo drilling it for his friend Contador.

This is what SKY would NEVER have.

Apparently Contador didn't ride his bike AT ALL on the rest day.
  • This is exciting then.

I know lots of people don't like him.. but you've got to respect Bertie's Panache and sock/shoe combination.

I'm not really a Contador fan but....All respect due ...... he is really giving it his all. A true racer attacking whenever he can.
