yeah, but when you can comprehensively tie him in knots it's just too much fun!

Lets face it, while we wait for the actual interview there's nothing else to do. Even the team kits are out now!
Fine, so open a "dennisn baiting" thread, and people can choose to get involved, or not.
Its just too tedious and unrelenting here.
    Can I upgrade???

it's been 195 pages of dennisn baiting, as it was always going to be, as has every Armstrong thread on BR since BR existed. Dennis is a single issue troll, he has (and has admitted to) no interest in Pro Cycling.

You can open as many Armstrong threads as you like, they all end up the same....

Is it in any way possible to have a thread without the whole dennisn and dennisn baiting thing?
This thread is a very interesting subject with new stuff still coming out everyday, but this thread has been ruined with nonsense.

Don't all hate on Lance Armstrong, he is just doing what all the business men, bankers, politicians, celebrities...do. Cheating is the new honest, just like brown is the new black in fashion.

So that makes it allright then.

So, today is the actual day of the Oprah / LA interview, yet the broadcast is still a couple of days off. Why does that seem to me to just "shoot to hell" the idea of unscripted? Maybe it's just me. After all who can you trust if not Oprah and LA?

Yep, I suspect that's why LA's 'people' have said no question is off limits - they know they can take out anything they don't like afterwards.

No, I was being a prat. I hate it just as much as you, proffesional cycling is dead to me.

  • Some very choice words on how this whole Oprah "confession" lark should be viewed:

    http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2 ... oping.html

    Page 2 is particularly scathing:
"He is an immoral, manipulative liar who doesn’t deserve a second more of anybody’s time.
So don’t waste it by watching him Thursday. Don’t continue to feed his insufferable ego. Don’t give him the satisfaction.
Let him be what he has become:
    Unimportant and worthless."

Will most of it be shared/leaked tonight and tomorrow, or do you think we have to wait till Thursday?

I'm kind of interested to see how this gets spun.

Twitter Taliban are hinting at some major confession style fireworks...

Guess this means that he's denied ever being a cyclist!

That's the conclusion I had already come to many years ago.
I didn't give him the satisfaction in 1994 as World Champion he said he seemed unrecognisable.

But a question I don't think has been asked here.
Your TUE (therapeutic use exemption) must have protected you from EPO tests so well from positive results.?
So what I don't understand is, why did they bother to test you at all. ??

He really didnt need acting lessons to prepare for this, did he

What do you reckon Lance is going to pay Landis to drop the lawsuit at DoJ? See it reported he's made friendly approach to Landis.

Good question. Landis is reportedly not living high on the hog (and I dont mean Bruyneel)

Very likely option. The lawsuit could potentially be very damaging, in addition to it being expensive.

Below article is quite interesting too: Commentary: Forget Oprah. What is Armstrong offering USADA?

Further twitterati suggesting that he apologised but did nt actually admit to doping....

I might have to swear at Rick so i get a 24hr ban, suspect I may not get much work done tomorrow

Interesting that. Do you think he would have any dirt on the current crop of riders? Contador for example from their time at Astana or did they have completely different programmes? Something suggests he will be the type of person to want to bring down those he fell out with back in the day....

News Bulletin on Radio 5 Live just now before the Cycling prog starting: LA apologised for all the distress caused by the media attention. See, its all the media's fault.

It also seems crazy his first admitance is in front of a bloody daytime fluffy chat show, with previous. Surely his testimony should be in a court room.
