    HAHAHAH!!!!

That is brilliant. My fiance is gonna love that. She insists on leaving the little bell on her Specialized - mostly because she knows it annoys me just by being there.

The dude is a legend already

Maybe he's just taking note of the fate of Giovanni Lombardi who got hit by a car in training back in 2002 and, whilst in hospital with a broken pelvis, got fined 20 Euros for not having a bell on the shattered remains of his Specialized.

Come on, didn't you know how cool it is to leave the bell on?
And they can be very handy too! :D

The breakaway riders mus be gutted... A whole day with Zabriskie and his "zany" sense of humour.

BTW - what's the estimated finish time today? I'm on nursery pickup and trying to figure out whether to leave the office early to get home for the finish, or stay in work and watch the stream.

Crazy. Really don't know what's wrong with them all this year.

It doesn't seem any worse than last year to me.

I think it seems worse as because this is the Tour every little detail gets reported. Crashes that happen early on in other races don't usually get reported unless a major name was injured.

I love the Spesh advert even with the Chuckle Brothers commentry - It's pretty much exactly what is going through my head as I "race" over the Carrefour de the Hague when I ride to work (not using the c-word!!)

I'm sure that's what broke my spoke yesterday, need new wheels now! :(

Just reminded of Greipel's awesome bike handling (and a bit of luck) from that Farrar crash yesterday. Amazing that he stayed upright, and then won the stage. Chapeau

    Some big names.
Porte, VDB, Valverde, Gesink, Westra, Greipel and Peraud.
    Probably fell asleep.

No, the troubel is that they have been mended so many times now....I think the rim must be proper fecked!

Going that far out of true from just one spoke does not suggest health to me! They re old and I ve abused them so I'm not too bothered....Just a question of do i replace them with a similar budget set again (Planet-X AL30's or similar) or get some Kysirium elites... :P

Thomas Voeckler pulls off his helmet

And you all thought that expression was his "race face".

As a Cav fan(boi?) maybe I should put the mockers on a few others?

Thought Sagan's ability not to come a complete cropper was excellent too. And Matt Goss was positioned excellently to avoid the melée.
