76,6km to go, not much excitement so far... Time to go out on the bike and then return. Keep me updated folks.

It was interesting to see who was up for the green jersey points.

Goss, Cav, Renshaw, Greipel, Van Hummel, Sagan, EBH, Rojas (in roughly that order)

No Kittel, No Farrar, No Gilbert

There will be an expectation that you cover at least 70km (small allowance for kitting up and getting the bike out the garage)

How's people liking the new saxo and garmin tops?
bloody awful ! even the Leopard trek team have taken a backward step with Radioshack on board - perhaps, for me at least, the best looking are Sky and Omega Pharma this year?

Ok so cue 20 pages on Cav's lack of top speed, his ambitions on making it to Paris and green jersey hopes....

On the plus side - tha Spesh advert with the litle kid pretending he's Boonen is Brilliant! Pretty much a documentary on your life eh Chasey? ;)

Those lids are awful - spoiling the look of the peloton.

French tv just said that Brailsford originally didn't want Eisel. Cav said bring him or I won't ride either

RSN not going to wear yellow lids if they get team comp.

Apparently "it's encouraged, not enforced" so they don't have to

Levi hanging out at the back... with bike handling skills like his, and with all the crashes in the first few days, he is playing with fire :lol::lol::lol:

If Movistar lead the "team points classification", they have decided to ride with green lids :lol::lol::lol:

You should broaden your cultural horizons, you might have more success with things like accents then.

Look, I'm fine with Gavin & Stacey and Pobol y Cwm, it's just everything else I have trouble with. Radio 4 is a total mystery to me.

Phil & Paul's commentary is killing me.

Is it possible to get Eurosport on Freeview as a paid channel?

I think you can listen to Eurosport live on the website? Used to be able to do that, but it was always a few seconds behind the images due to usual internet delays

The more I see of Wiggins's helmet, the more it makes him look like Bob the Builder.

You think they were sitting in a Primary school class with Sherwin telling you what every word in cycling is or when this chateau was built....then you remember he's pandering to the "Thick as shyte americans"
  • Those yellow helmets are bloody horrible. Why do we need to know which is the next team in the competition? It's not even that relevant.

And what I could understand of Roche sounded quite good. Will they put subtitles on it for the repeat as I'd have loved to have understood everything.
Bianchi. There are no alternatives only compromises!

Dear people new to the Tour. To answer your question, no, it's not always this dull.

Carleton was killing me. When things would happen, like a sprint for the KOM points, he would ignore it and go on chatting with Roche.
