The CAS report:

I see there's still the issue of his fine to be dealt with. UCI asking for 2.5 million euros.Twitter: @RichN950 -

Interesting that the CAS seem to be accepting that this was most likely not a case of deliberate doping, but they have applied the rule of strict liability.0 -

Andy Schleck is a puny boy with no racing balls. Zero class, zero ability to inspire fans.
If he can bring himself to race ever again after this injustice, he will come back and tear the hell out of the Vuelta. August 6, 2012.
I seem to remember (a long time ago) you stating that if he was found guilty by CAS, you would accept it. So it was politics that got the clen into his system? should have used that as his defence.
I'm pleased he got what he deserved.
if he got what he deserved we wouldn't be reading about this today!!!'Do not compare your bike to others, for always there will be greater and lesser bikes'0 -

Perhaps the Spanish Beef industry can sue him for bringing them into any disrepute too.0

Gutted ban doesn't start from now and is back dated. Cannot see how that works as he's been racing all that time.
Anyway glad to see a 'positive' outcome.0 -

The Panel concluded that both the meat contamination scenario and the blood transfusion
scenario were, in theory, possible explanations for the adverse analytica
however equally unlikely. In the Panel’s opinion
presence of clenbuterol was more likely caused by the ingestion of a contaminated food
supplement.

In truth not so much a ban as re-write of the record books.0

So Fat PAt says it is a sad day yet he is secretly licking his chops at the thought of taking 2.5m from Contador.Contador is the Greatest0

Interesting
So if they think it came from ingested meat then why is he banned.Contador is the Greatest0 -
Hmm - one wonders to what extent Contador's success can be atributed to his drug-cheating - was it a one-off, or has he been systematically cheating throughout the last few years - it's unfortunate for him, but he's been caught, and its about time he stopped lying about ''steaks'' and what not :roll:0

They're not saying it came from the meat but a supplement.0 -

These authorities have big ball syndrome. We are fat and cant race but we will take down the best riders for the sake of it. They come back and show you guys up.

Just read the ban may actually come into force from 25th Jan 2011. So that'll see him banned until 24th Jan 2013? What does that matter as the guy never normally rides after the TDF anyway.0
