the thing is I get the feeling they have already made the decision at CAS already. All these delays and delays just makes it seem as if they have told the UCI \WADA \ Contador and they are now dealing with the fall out and agreeing what to do behind the scenes

the delaying all suggest panic in CAS to me. It's so clear cut that clen is not in say the 20,000 samples of tested beef which can be used as evidence to knock down Bert's defence and it is banned drug in the livestock industry so. Should be open and closed case one would think. I guess he will get off without a ban or much of a sanction

perhaps they are scared Bert will seek damages and fees and they can't afford such a rich person hurting their finances?

Am sure and hope Kimmage will not be sending them money anytime soon. But the extension to February 6th of a decision on a case which so clear cut suggests CAS has lost and they're on plan B.

Surely it isn't up the CAS to win or lose. They are just there to rule on if the RFEC were correct in absolving Contador or if WADA \ UCI are correct in that he should be banned for 2 years. CAS can't win or lose they are impartial and are just there to provide the last point of resolution for this dispute

What I mean is will CAS fail to strike down the Spanish Federation decision and thereby see the right verdict-a win for cleaning up the sport.

He confessed that he has also been filling up his days with more appointments than he would usually like, but has enjoyed getting back into training over the last few weeks having barely touched the bike since the end of the Tour de France last July. In fact, he admitted that he had done so little riding during that period that his brother/manager, Francisco, had wondered if Contador had laid off the bike for too long. During that down time, Contador gained seven kilos, but most of this has already been shed.

What he needs is a course of clenbuterol

    more on the Contador rumour,

I've heard 6-8 month back-dated ban, loss of Tour 2010, Giro 2011 and other races.

    Returns immediately.

    But just rumour

The CAS website seems to have crashed. Maybe be they'll delay the announcement until it's fixed - in August.
