Only 122 days to go.
Tour of Flanders, that's the warm up race for Paris Rouabix, right?

No, Roubaix gives riders a quick opportunity to redeem their season after failing to win the most important cobbled classic of the season.0 -

It's to the Ronde what the Vuelta is to the Tour.0 -

I don't know that the Vuelta or the Tour are. The season finishes after Roubaix, doesn't it?

we are quite lucky to have the two best races all season one week after the other, it would be like the world cup final coming the week after the champions league final, personally i think how good the race is depends more on how they ride it that roubaix being a better or worse course than flanders0

Absolutely, it's how the race pans out that matters.0 -

That might be the case when it comes to which race is more exciting that particular season but i am talking more in general terms. For me Rouxbaix is way ahead of any other single day race on the calendar in terms of prestige and importance. In 20 years time ouwith Flanders itself who will remember the 2011 winner, but Johan Vansummeren will always be remembered for winning PR.Gasping - but somehow still alive !0 -
Our daughter is due on April 1st. I'll make sure to ask her to arrive either well before or well after the race so that I can watch it in peace0

Are you aware of the forum rule that any baby born on a race day has to be named after the winner? (Feminized versions are acceptable).Twitter: @RichN950 -

But if it's Flanders and it's a girl, you use the name of the winner of the women's race?0 -

Will Flanders be as good without the Muur?
Reading that piece about its exclusion in Procycling was quite maddening.0 -

E3's got the Muur this year though.
So not all is lost.0 -
Geraintia.
She'd be the only one in her class. Unique. Stylish.0 -

It's apparently about 100k from the finish though, so it won't really be a factor. It's sad.Twitter: @RichN950 -

I've shown my wife this thread...she said she likes Fabienne!
Her Mum lives in Lyon, so that shouldn't have been too much of a surprise I suppose0 -
