  • I want a Skoda Yeti.

Its a car, its a van and its faster than a ferrari.

I really do want one though, considering one for next car if they're reasonably priced 2nd hand!

    Yum yum!

Can you guess what it is.
  • Nice car! Is it a proposed new mondeo? I actually love the look of the existing Mondeo Titanium X Sport. Hardly a dream car but probably one of the best day to day family cars around!
Current bike: 2014 Kinesis Racelight T2 - built by my good self!

    Correct, the new Mk5 Mondeo.

I'm not a huge fan of the Mk4 its ok, don't like driving them though the one I had as a hire car was a bit below par compared, prefer my Mk3.
However this new one looks real nice, touch of Evo10 lights, Aston-esq grill and a Jag XFR rear end.

The Mondeo in question in many different colours and angles, I prefer the white out of the lot which strangely I usually don't like white cars.

Although the blue comes a close second.

Why? Because I've missed camping in my last van ever since I got it sold for a Peugeot 407. I'd have seats in the back for group runs away or camping mod for the girl and I to sleep under the stars somewhere in the mountains... But I can't sell the Peugeot, no one's interested. She's become one of the short term girlfriends that's gotten rather too attached to you and now you can't get rid of her. Primarily because no-one else wants her. Cos she stuffs her face too much.

despite barely being old enough to remember many of the cars mentioned here, i do love good old school muscle cars, the mustangs, camaro's etc

have to say though, three (well technically five) cars stand out as my dream cars:

240z, pretty much as seen here:

    sstp_0711_01_z+1970_datsun_240z+side_view.jpg

    shelby daytona coupe

    and its re-make:

    original gt40

there are of course the usual suspects modern car wise - focus rs, mclaren f1 lm, mp4-12c

I'd kill to have the balls to sell my car and throw away my savings on a 240z project.

i very rarely enter this "sensible" part of the forum, hence my exclusion from this topic thus far

tbh it was forza 3 that got me into the 240z, and then the more i thought about it, the more i thought how cool it would be to own one, of all the cars mentioned if i could own any of them, it would one of these babies, because they just look superb and probably drive like the clappers once done up 8) the new 370z doesnt have a thing on the 240, it just doesnt come near, in fact few cars today do imo...

shame i can neither afford it nor actually drive

  • I am also lucky enough to already have mine :) I love how a lot of people don't know what it is and subsequntly try to race me... usually a massive fail :D

Bought this when I was 21 and will have it forever!

I also want a softop Mustang in my life one day. I'll not bother with the get rich car seeing as these are supposed to be realistic cars!

ooh yes. If you can afford it right now, even if that means making a few changes (not as in, get me one of them jobs that pays a million pound bonus), then this is the plce for it. Rust buckets, shit kickers, robbin reliants, this is the place for them if you've got a lover for it.
Can't see your image as work has blocked it.
  • lol, it's a Mkiii Supra turbo.

It's a bit of a just on the affording it side, occasionally it will have to sit for a week cause I can't afford to fuel it again :) but I've kept it 3 years so far so it's not that bad, the biggest expense is when you sit for hours on the net buying stuff for it! whoops :D

Three 'achievable' dream cars when I was younger
Sierra XR4x4 - I have one on the drive now that I've had since 1993, 1988 car fully loaded as it was originally a dealer demo car, I'm the third owner.
Subaru Forester STi (original version) - the daily driver is now a UK Model S-turbo, and it's great for hauling bikes as well (can manage 6 at a push).
Leaving just the 1964 Mustang Coupe......

    Simon
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
  • Got my 1st Alfa a couple of years ago and have been more than happy with it however 1st kid is now on the way so it might be time to get something a bit bigger and estate like. Still keeping in the realistic dream car the wife and I have agreed on one of these for the next car, just got to start saving up the pennies.

    media?id=1929942674

    media?id=1929942720

2.4 Turbo Diesel with 200bhp but 300 lbs/ft of torques as standard.

Beautiful cars, wife has had many 147's. Always lost loads of money on them but loved them anyway.
I used to work for Fiat/Alfa so i know how much trouble they "can" be but you gotta love those looks. best looking estate by far, shame it has a pretty small boot
also the best sounding diesel, i know thats a contradiction but its true. :D

Will be once it's back from Alfatune with a S/S exhaust, remap and DPF removed ;)

Only another grand to find on top of whatever I finally spend.

Would love to buy and old original Mini... drove one just round the block
gave me a good feeling and they look great.

If money was no question then it would be a toss up between a BMW 535 and an M3

535... spacious, 5 doors, comfortable for rear passengers, sporty and great to drive.

M3... with a 4.0 v8 it sounds and looks great plus its fantastic to drive but not much space for rear passengers if any
and if convertable then no boot space at all with roof down.

awful 4x4. Put my dad's over the roundabout at the end of the old Stansted airport road in 1992.
