Its a joy not having to listen to Sherwen in particularIt's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.0 -

I thought the same during ToC and at start of this TdF, however his jokey asides have really grown on me. I've found myself laughing out loud on several occasions.0 -
A lot of the break will be sacrificed on the last climb to give their GC men a hand, Jens and Linus spring to mind.0
-
Col de lar cor.
F*cking hell I died on that climb, in similar heat.
Gets quite steep at the top, watch out for some excellent decending!0 -

I feel guilty for disliking Ligget and Shirwen. They are a lot of people's first Tdf introduction. They are bloody awful now though.0
-
I'm stuck with P&P (no Eurosport)
At least it's rubbish I can understand (unlike next week, when it'll br French comms in motorhome)0 -
Vaughters saying thor was hitting 112kph on the decent yesterday...fark!0

The riders in the break who are looking out for someone in the GC will drop off eventually, so Contador having his whole team around him, maybe hitting the final slopes a little fresher could work to his advantage.0 -

I know that he's never going to like this kind of stage, but he really looks like he's struggling today, really starting to rock on the bike."I have a lovely photo of a Camargue horse but will not post it now" (Frenchfighter - July 2013)0 -

Crikey. Without trying I topped out at 75km/h coming down the Solour last year - - - No idea how you can go as fast as Thor.0 -
Not looking good for Cav - still 100km to go and he's "sooofering maajoorly" already0
-
Aye it was me - Missus away to the shops.....Whole tour stage in peace & Quiet ...4 bottles of Millers ....bliss0
