Who on BR has bought a 'cheap' Chinese carbon frame?

Has anyone on here had a set of the wheels and used them for long enough to give a review and rate there longevity?

Fine, no worse than on the Zipps/Bora Ultra twos I've had, I use swissstop yellow brake pads btw...

Just done over 100 miles on the ones pictured on the previous page 38mm clinchers super fast getting an extra 2 minutes per 10km with these wheels. Would not hesitate to buy another pair.

Hi have the 60mm ones since last Sept and I love them.No problems or issues with them at all and i am using standard carbon brake blocks to stop/slow me down.I have now ordered the 88mm ones the other day from the same seller.

Has anyone built the wheels up themselves? I've just ordered some 50mm clincher rims (28/20) and plan to build them onto my PowerTap and a front hub that's coming from Bikehubstore. I've built loads of wheels, but they've all been alloy rims and straight forward 32 or 36 spoke 3-cross. I'm a bit worried that this build might be a bit beyond my abilities though.

And while I'm asking.... bearing in mind the hubs are silver - should I go for silver or black spokes? I'm thinking black will look marginally better.

At last! Earlier today Mina from Dengfu emailed me to confirm my frame is ready to ship.

It's not flashy (although the next one might be) nor a copy but it's exactly what I want

The was a 54cm built up with everything of ebay.The ride is nice an stiff when you get out of the saddle it just goes I love it.Thinking of putting some white stickers on the down tube but not sure it might take the look away.The total cost was about£1100.00,Shimano 6700 groupset except for chainset -compact raceface.Carbon bars stem seatpost and cages all from China.Wheels I alraedy had so one happy carbonzone rider .

Got my design sorted . . . . . . I think but now stuck on black (3K carbon) or white frame :roll:

On both frames the black areas will be clear coated 3k carbon finish.

Any votes for either? White was my first idea but when I made the black version it made me have second thoughts. Think I should go with my initial gut feeling in the white?

Well, My FM028 is now finished

I'm happy with it, tho im sure there will be many that are not :P
