0.3kg of weight dropped is nothing compared to decent air forks performance wise. You obviously don't know what you're on about so I'll ignore you.

lisen u bum, this is not only fools n horses lol
anyway, thats a nic ebike you have there, whats the cost?
if its between £150-300 then maybe ill consider. and why is the fury going for more than £300 when its not worth it! id rather buy a boardman sport which has better stuff on for £150 more, i just like white color u see.
anyway, if anyone can get me one then please let me know. theres a tramp on eBay selling it for 600 cos he put a pair of lights on n thought hes got a ferrari or sumthin so he decided to try his luck, ben167 is his name, retard!

    let me know man please!

You call the guy a bum and then want to buy his bike off him for a derisory price? Then you have a pop at a guy on ebay for trying his luck!?

Deary me! Have a word with yourself!
  • My thoughts exactly. Some people really do lower the tone.

He'll be trying to buy a Raleigh Poppy next.
  • Like I'd ever sell my loved Fury to you, I wouldn't couldn't it be tortured like that.

lisen u tramps, i need a bike, as soon as i was about to buy the fury i saw the boardmans and then compared them both. their both good bikes, thing is, with fury carrera is just the name, quality wise, i don't know how they do off road but was told they are poor performance bikes. just a casual all rounder really. i wud neva spend 600 on a carrera unles it was reli worth it. i neva say neva but wen u kno suma aint worth the price i know, for example

carrera titan, its carbon fibre, how much? £900/1000. their frame snaps just like that, it so shit cos its carrera, halfords own brand. halfords a car shop for gods sake.

goes to prove what carrreras are made of. the kraken 07 blak n grey ltd edition did it for me, they are the best ones. trust me. u cud mountain bike on them all day n u wudnt get a problem.

    to getonyourbike....
don't listen to clowns like that, I've been reading (not posting so much) on this site for ages, and I have to say, on the whole it's a friendly place for people of all abilities (and wallet size) to chinwag and pass on tips & information.
I've had a Boardman Sport and I have to say it was all the bike I needed.... at that time, The forks were a tad ropey, but after 4 rides I'd managed to adjust them to what I think was an acceptable level.
MTBing, unless you're a pro, has nothing really to do with what you ride, you get the best bike you can for the money you have, and you upgrade certain bits, well.. to make it look different from stock... and improve certain aspects... (sorry not trying to insult your intelligence here, you know this already)

I'm personally not a fan of Carrera, but that is nothing to do with the way they look or a dig at someone who owns one, its personal taste, it felt a bit loose at the back end for me, (like my ex) but that might be due to my riding style...(like my ex) anyway, you have a nice looking bike, you love it (which is the main thing) and... and you use it !!!!
sorry rant over... just hate people coming on here spouting the big one.. trying to get a rise out of someone... which unfortunatly... they've got one from me  !!!

BY THE WAY... SHUKER YOU ADDED...
"some lads here wanna chore their chicken over your s*s**r, a bet shes fit"

    Sorry... but first of all...

It should be "Some lads"... Capital letter please!!! :?:
"wanna".. no idea what that's supposed to mean. :?:
"chore their chicken" I thought the term was CHOKE... it should never be a chore ! :!:
"a bet she's fit" Errrr... I think you were supposed to type...."I" think she's fit" :!:

    Good evening !!!!

    ha ha... brilliant...

Shukur... you made me smile when I got in to work this morning (thats right.. work, not playgroup) and just trying to read what you've put made me laugh, but then after a while I was able to decipher what you'd put.. and then I laughed some more.

    to answer your questions...
    1) can anyone find me a nice fury bike - Look in Halfords

    2) why shud i spend more than £300 on a fury - Because new, they are priced more than £300

    3) how real is the thing - let someone ride over your foot..

    4) wats best one to get then 18 or 20 inch? - That depends on how tall you are

    5) n why dus sum of them have a black logo on one side of the fork and the one on display at halfords have double white forks with no blacklgo? - I could be wrong, but I think the one with black decals on the forks is the 09 model... and the other is the 10 model.

    Hope this clears things up

What the hell?!?! Since when have Titan frames snapped "just like that"? You say that you like carreras, and then 2 seconds later you say they're shoot? Strange person. If you knew anything about bikes, then you would know that the Fury is far better than the Kraken, and light years ahead of the Boardman Sport. Boardman frames aren't very strong (I own one) and I'd much rather have a Fury frame as they're far stronger and more or less the same weight. It's a very capable bike and is a frame definitely worth upgrading.

Also, why should WE find a bike for you? Do it yourself.

And now people that speak sense have arrived in the form of blucky, RevellRider, The Northern Monkey, neon_neon, bwfc4eva868, minardi and birch1983. skukur, just go away, nobody wants you here, go back to school. I'm still at school, but that's beside the point as my grammar is correct and I know my stuff when it comes to bikes (not as well as some people on here, obviously).
  • Shukur your a fine one to talk about behaving. If you want people to give you some good advice you should try speaking in ENGLISH not text talk.
If you think we are all "Tramps" on this forum then why don't you f*ck off back to play group and leave us alone
I assume this is French petrol - be careful in reverse - the car will retreat rapidly at the least provocation.

I think we should keep this on topic... Talking about Getonyourbike's bike.
If Shukur is after a bike, there's an MTB Wanted section.
