really good run tonight, just me and dan tho.

we hit all the uphills to get my some time on them, mosty was fail by me/skills/bike/thinking about falling over

wind up the top was mad. hard to stand up, so we hit the xc down, i took slow as i dont know it besides there is lots of water and i wonted to keep as dry as i could as i had to ride home.

the rest of the run was great fun, dan lost me on all the timehill but i think i may good time. getting better at drop off, but my feet in the wet where flying off all the time. dam so wet.

let some english dudes go ahead 1 point. bad misstake, i give them room to get ahead of me but i had to stop 3 times as they where to slow for me :shock: :twisted:

Anyone riding at Cwmcarn this Saturday late afternoon? Notax and I are up for the weekend and thinking of doing a quick blast or two about 5pm or so...

Good ride Tom nice one, trail still little wet but all in all a good run, you no like my razorblade seat lol

Vids didn't turn out to good due to being rear facing and a wet trail, will upload whats ok l8rzz. Dry run should be ok tho

Bit later than i had planned, but if it means i have someone to ride with then i'll come play. I'm over in St Davids in the morning, driving back whenever.. not been there yet but do fancy it

Cheers Robinhood - I know Lisvane a bit so will check out the way you mentioned. Also will be checking out Castel Coch at the weekend.

This is my first bike in about 10 years so havent really done much riding between then and now so really looking to ease myself back into things again.

Robinhood has suggested some trails so will probably head on over to Lisvane and Castel Coch this weekend to have a bit of a stint around there.

Do you know Lisvane quite well?

There are quite a few routes that start off there. If you know where the tennis courts are there is a bridalway which goes up to the top of the ridge. when you get to the top of the ridge you can either head east towards Rudry and Machen or west which takes you out into the woods at Castell Coch.

Ian what time at fiddlers elbow? i have 2 roof racks on my car that can be taken off easy, if you have square or aero bars they fit, if need be.

sorry tom but we dont meet at crown pub we meet at brynmeadows golf club as we ride there not drive we only met at pub the other day cos there was loads of new lads with cars sorry dude.we ride wyllie at least once a week so will show you around soon fella.

gutting, i did drive over to the club about 5 to to have a look around must of just missed you guys. i did some cwm by my self. went looking for this dh track some dude told me and dar about but could not find it.

still looks like its in 4:1? not widescreen 16:9, 4:1 is the better setting for chest mount as it gives a better vertical view.
also a little tip to getting rid of the clip noise, all the clicking when you hit bumps is just the mount moving

unclip the mount from the chest mount, and then you have 2 side mound and a center locator in the centre of the chest baseplate, place a single strip of electrical tape along the length of the center locator. that will take out all the play, and you should be clatering free
