New pads from Superstar for me. The original pads lasted me a year, and that's with riding all winter. Hoping these do the same too!

sadly I'm waiting for 2 Yotam Ottolenghi books to turn up from amazon. Mrs S has decreed that alcohol and meat are evil in a quest to lose weight, and I am forced to do the same lest I get 'THE LOOK' and a complete lack of fun in the bedroom.

Mrs C would just know NEVER to ask my to give up the Hops... otherwise SHE would be getting THAT look :lol:

Today, a set of KCNC skewers (in Black flavour) for the NRS. The Ti Kore ones, which were red, that have faded to a nice shade of Pink are starting to show signs of wear and battle damage. Also, the KCNC ones are a good 25g lighter... :D

Still not arrived, spoke to Burls this morning. They were very helpful, had tried to email me, but I think I'd entered my email address wrong on their site. Basically, they are somewhere on the way from Tiawan. Obviously, the volanco fiasco has had an impact here. Due to arrive immenently and will be dispatched to me soon.

I thought the Kore ones were light when I got them, but these should be half the weight of those!

Just ordered a Veho Muvi clone off the Bay. What's the best way to mount them to handlebars, helmets or a women's shower room?

Well, since doing all this for a month I have achieved a number of things
Lost nearly 11lbs, back down to just over 13 st 8.
    Saved nearly £150
Slept better, now only needing 6 hours a night
Resumed what can only be called a 16 year olds dream level of hands free action.
And thanks to all the extra methane produced my local route is again sub 30 minutes despite running a 34/11-32 set up.
Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.
