I will add that I'll now not be spending any more money on bikes for a year or two because it's getting silly.

That's what I said when I bought the Ibis during my gap year... It was meant to be the only bike I'd ever need... 3 years later and I've technically doubled the number of mtbs I've ever owned and the Ibis could be up for sale later in the year!

Thats because its the best bike ever,

But a bit to high in the BB,

Bit to short in the top tube,

    Not slack enough..

    ;)

Just a few of the things I've picked up on over the years ;) best bike ever is stretching it, buts it's still bloody good fun! :)

Some Altura Progel Shield bibs, for MTB and road use (after getting a particularly wet backside last weekend on the roadie).

I've also been looking (well, dreaming I had the space) for a cheap second hand downhill bike. I've not ordered this.

It is amazing what pops up searching for "Downhill" on eBay.

Whilst that example is particularly offensive, the lack of clamp on the seatpost upsets me the most.

    Pair of XT brakes.

Picked up a GT Tempest yesterday from the local eBay. I won with a bid of £34. Chuffed with the price, as well as the bike. :D

Hubsan X4 micro copter for £30 off Ebuyer. Mate has one and are good fun but a bit tricky to fly at first. Bloody quick with about 100M range and like GT's phone comes with a built in shoot camera. Usually about £40 ish so couldn't resist.

Need to buy a few more batterys but should come in handy for ariel assaults on a flippin cat that keeps leaving cat mines in the garden :D

Oi, leave my shite phone alone! I think ive done something to the settings on it, i used to get good photos on it by now they are coming out pants :/ See, used to be far better:

    DSC_0098_zpszsnmzgfr.jpg

VW, everything on it is fine, :P The rear brake wire was a bit "dry" as it hadnt been ridden in years apparently, so i took that off and WD40ed the inners, and i swapped the rear v brakes which was actually a down-grade. Other than that, everything is fully useable and works perfectly well.

New XT cassette, T-Rex went on so had to get a new chain, which appears to be slipping on the old cassette.

Not really bike related, only in that I have to make space in the garage, but I've just agreed to buy an old Mini 1000. Seemed rude not to and I have time to work on it before the boy turns 17 in a little over a year.

He'd better believe it. I work with old cars so I've been looking for a cheap, solid one for a while and this is very cheap. It needs a clutch and some suspension work, but I've got time. Mind you I've been rebuilding my bloody motorbike for years.

I just got the Park Tools SC9 Work Stand - stable enough for my Canyon Spectral 7.9 29er in XL Frame. It weights about 27lbs. Well happy, now i don't have to crouch down to oil and tweak.

Also ordered a MT500 Endura burner DH jersey, its quality, fits well and plenty room for elbow pads and body armour underneath.

Pair of Alpine Stars Bionic armoured shorts as the current pair don't seem to offer enough protection. Looks like something the 'Predator' wears! Luckily it'll not be visible.

CRC are dishing out some 'lotto' type discount vouchers with recent orders - £5, £10 or £20 off but you don't know how much till you enter the code at the checkout.
