When you get the adapter though, your gonna think "all that - for that!"
You going to build your own front wheel then?

fancied the new 100 percent gloves, thought it was worth a go at £18

They look amazing. Like the colours. On the bottom of the right glove you should write "fark all"

Yeah I thought they looked pretty awesome, I haven't seen anyone with them out on the trail.. Probably because they were only launched mid March

The thing that surprised me is they were cheaper than all the Troy Lee and Royal gloves, just hope they feel as good.. The only sponsored rider I know that uses them is Nico Vouilloz

They have 5 other designs but without the wrist strap which look just as good

Haha, well hopefully they will incourage me to give 100% ..

Why would you buy the 5010 and the Nomad? Surely they are too close together to have both. Never mind, someone will snap up the one you decide isn't required in 3 months or so.

As great as it is, the solo doesn't have the travel/geometry/beefiness for whistler/the alps/big mountain riding.

Appreciated, but I can't ever imagine a situation where you would choose the 5010 over the Nomad, even for a quick blast round the block

I guess, if it was me buying both bikes it would depend on the build.

The 5010 would be built lightweight and almost XC fast, where as the Nomad would be built burly

Personally I'd keep the Nomad and change the 5010 for a mega hardtail build

Or keep the 5010 and get a DH rig

    That too

But it's his money and they all seem like incredible bikes

That's the plan, 5010 tips the scales at just under 26 lbs, has a slightly longer stem and revs. The Nomad is nearer to 29/30lbs, slack, low, short stem, wiiiide bars and pikes.

Before the Nomad was launched I was inches away from ordering a full on dh rig (demo 8 carbon, most likely) but thought that it might be a bit limiting for when I go abroad and only have one bike and don't necessarily want to spend all and every day in a dh park. With the Nomad it's slack enough and has enough travel for hooning down dh runs, but light enough for a couple of days trail riding.
