I'm liking that ensemble, might steal it.
A man of good taste 8)

Was torn between the plain jersey and the one with black/grey camo pattern - but in the end that was the one they had in my size.

Following the blue short theme. Hopefully they'll fit, the Altura ones I tried didn't, neither did the Royal ones, both either to small or to baggy.

3 x YBN 10 speed quick links (had to use one on the Canyon on Sunday, so got a few in stock, I end up giving them away on the trail to strangers at times, too)
2 x YBN 9 speed quick links (for the roadie, and just in case)

I always try to carry a spare link but haven't had to use one myself, yet, twice got others going whilst out though. The last time was on the off road London to Brighton and as I was fixing one guys chain another bloke stopped and offered to help. He then said that he had spare 9 speed links but didn't need them any more as his new bike was 10 speed. So he gave me the links. I thought that was a nice bit of karma.
I've just ordered an Abus wall anchor for £9.

Seem to be a popular bike atm! Was hoping to have a go on one at a demo day a few weeks back but didn't get a chance. Mate has one and loves it

I ordered some 10 speed ones as the link popped at the point furthest away from the car park on Fridays ride, a nice 2 hour walk back  Thought I had some in the emergency kit, turns out I'd given the last one to somebody else.

I've spent most this afternoon reading up on them. I like that they're not 'phone-watches' but more a notification watch, attached to your phone via bluetooth. There's loads of apps for them now too, so GPS, running apps, cycling apps, weather etc. all on your wrist. I'll update when it's arrived (will be a while, they're out of stock of the black, and it gets shipped from America!)

Cool, I'd like to hear what you think.
One of colleagues has the Samsung gear, looks cool but I'd need to update my S3 to a 4 to use it.

Something that made me laugh on the advert for a smart watch, the model takes a photo with her watch (I guess to show off the camera feature) and then sends the photo to her phone - why the fuck would you not just take the photo with your phone.
  • I'm tempted by a gear, but only because I need a watch lol.
I like gadgets, not so fussed by watches, so it seems like a cool idea to me.

Would imagine that anyone with any interest in proper watches would hate this!

I think the point is that you dont have to get your phone out at all... take a photo and look at it later? I dunno...

I think its one of those things that people want, they just dont know why they want it haha.

Hmm when I want to do something that reuqires the function of a smart phone, I have no issues with the effort required to get my smartphone out my pocket to do it. For this reason, I'm out.

That's only because you haven't been bought some ridiculous jeans by your Mrs that are so tight you can't get anything out of your pocket once it's in there.
