Two black bottle cages from CRC to replace the crap plastic Tacx ones I bought that both broke within three rides.
A pair of black grips with red lock rings from Carbon Cycles, less than £8 so I'll see how they hold up.0 -

My Dad just got the North American version (he lives in Canada) in black to replace a Ford Expedition! He's over the moon with it + I belive the North American one has an extra 10bhp. He had the original 500 in his youth so I think he wanted to re-live it 8)
Back to bikes.... has anyone ordered from Leisure Lakes over the festive period? I ordered an IXS lid from them which was supposedly dispatched on the 23rd Dec but is still not here. I know delays are to be expected at this time of year but I've ordered stuff from CRC and eBay since then and all of it has turned up. I did send LL an email so will wait the usual 24hrs for a reply.Current:

Leisure Lakes delivery is utter shite. The last two orders I've had from them have been awful. First they didn't send the liner with the shorts I ordered, the gloves from the same order I was told were out of stock and then the replacement pair took nearly two weeks to arrive and the last order they sent the wrong size jersey  So far then for me at least a 100% fail rate... I'd get your money back and go else where, CRC have the IXS lids, but I'd really recommend a Troy Lee A1 if you can stretch to it, they are so good it's insane, by far and away the most comfortable lid I've ever tried!0 -

Thanks man, I'll give them until this time tomorrow to reply and if they don't answer to my satisfaction I'll call them for a refund and go with CRC or Bike-Discount. I did look at the A1 on your suggestion before, but decided I prefer the styling of the IXSCurrent:

The A1 is an aquired taste! I did like the look of the IXS but preferred the adjustment system on the A10 -

Easy to push it up to 200bhp, 240bhp is possible but scary in such a small car. Front of the all new 500 Arbarths need bracing otherwise they're quite 'wobbly' - remember you're basically driving a 3 door fiat panda with three times the power. Do not fit cheap cheap rubber if you want to corner at a reasonable speed or dislike auto lane change if you hit standing water - the rear beam's a b*tch. And if anybody seriously wants to recreate the original arbarth experience rip out the 100+kg of unwanted crud inside and listen to the engine scream (wife won't let me do this )

A new xt m770 top swing front mech to replace the conventional swing one I bought last year and got round to fitting today, only to realise it won't go on the trance because the seat tube isn't straight.
Plus a new set of cables0 -
Over the last two days I have ordered 4x Michelin Primacy HP DT1 for Battlewagon II, 1x Exhaust and 4x Conti Eco Contact 3 for the Fiat, 1x Wild Willy Jr, 25x Conti Road tubes as the cheap CRC ones keep blowing at the bottom of the valve stem, 10x name stickers from Flandria, 20m of Pirelli webbing and red leather to rebuild a set of Lancia seats for a mate and I need to have something to do in the evening, 1x Tamiya Fiat 500 1/10, 1x brushless motor and speed control for mates son, Cheap On-One helmet that looks the same as a Hex but cost £17, a stack of cheap MTB and road tyres including a pair of Medusa and High Rollers, 4 new jockey wheels from DX as the two on the 456 have seized/dies through lack of care, they've started doing really cheap ones and it's always good to have spares when it's this muddy, a couple of cheap cheap DX CNC rear lights as they were stupid cheap as well.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.
