Actually have you a guesstimate of how many hours a week during the giro you spent on this?"If I was a 38 year old man, I definitely wouldn't be riding a bright yellow bike with Hello Kitty disc wheels, put it that way. Hmm, maybe 10-15 minutes each day in total. But usually whilst watching the Giro, so time well spent 8)0

Well it was much appreciated. Cheers Monkey ManIt's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.0

What job do you do that allows you that time? And more importantly, how do I do it???0 -
Well if I told you that, everyone would be doing it0

Although I will still be able to get to see Eurosport, I probably won't have wifi access.
Can I have these please?

Dauphiné is done. Cumulonimbus is still our leader, and actually extends his lead to 35 points. FJS and bring_back_jan switch positions on the podium, too.

Right, that's it. The overall scores from the Tour de Suisse won't be updated until I get back from my holiday - a few days before the Tour de France!0 -
Better late than never... overall scores after the Tour de Suisse (ps, big thanks to scwxx77 for keeping tabs during the TdS).
Cumulonimbus still leads, extending his advantage by another 3 points over FJS. bring_back_jan remains in third.

Oh... the pain. Cumulonimbus, what happened? One of the most epic fails in PTP history. From 1st... to 22nd?! The Tour de France is a cruel mistress at times.
So, after the cloud goes up in a puff of smoke, that opens the door for bring_back_jan to take over the number 1 spot with 924 points. 2009 champion FJS is lurking, ominously I may add, 3 points behind, with mididoctors a further 10 back.
Tour de France champion GroupOfOne climbs into the top 15 after bagging an impressive 244 points in July.

I'm having a Brad Wiggins. Top 10 in debut season last year, languishing in the 30's this season...........Robert Millar for knighthood0

I thought I was having a bad year but that IT mess up with the Scheldeprijs means I'm missing 50 points which could have put me in top spot
Plenty of racing still to go.
(I picked Farrar to win, he won, but after pressing "submit" the pick went missing  )0 -

I had a decent Tour, shame I missed so many races in the middle of the season0

that happened to me with a Farrar pick in another race this year - only cost me 10 points though. He's cursed.0 -

After a good showing in Poland, FJS reclaims the top spot! bring_back_jan only held pole position for two races - will he be able to fight back as we enter into the final part of the season, or will FJS hold on to become PTP's first ever double champion?

I seem to be making a late season charge through the order.
Alas, my holiday coincides with the Eneco, and so I will have to use the bane of the PTPer, long distance predictions0 -

FJS remains in the lead after the Vattenfall, although bring_back_jan clawed back 10 points, meaning the gap is now down to 9.

Yeah OK, I forgot about updating the GC after the Eneco Tour. Silly me. There was a bit of change, too, with 2nd placed bring_back_jan dropping down to 5th overall.
FJS keeps the top spot, 31 points ahead of Snorebens and a further 5 ahead of jp1985. 31 points, however, might not be enough as we go into a wide open Vuelta...

AFX, I've just spotted that you haven't given me any points for Milan San Remo (I picked Boonen who was 2nd) - think I should have 889 pts including Eneco.
Just outside the top 20 for the 1st time all season! :roll:0 -
We had chaingate in the Tour, now will PTP be rocked by Scheldegate, when Kleber's chain was derailed causing him to lose valuable ground on the leaders...0

Alright, alright, after the Canadian one-dayers the monumental news is that Ridgerider is up to... wait for it... 83rd place! :P
Oh, and we also have a new leader, with Snorebens bunnyhopping FJS into 1st place. Not for long, though; he picked Menchov for the Vuelta. As did FJS. Kléber on the other hand... he's sitting pretty with Nibali in the GC column.

Ah well, one to frame and tell the kids about - unless Nibs falls of a mountain today of course.0 -

Excellent, it should mean some fierce attacks in the final rounds. Only Worlds, Paris-Tours and Lombardy to go after the Vuelta. Squeaky bum time.0 -
