Probably because you made that pick after the end of stage 1. Deadline is BEFORE the start of stage 1.
  • Just glad to be in the top 10 if i can have a good Giro im hoping i can stay there for the year ( what to be on the list of past winners next year  )

Yeah, sorry, but stage 1 was already fairly selective in terms of deciding the GC. Too late by then.

Not much change after AGR, although thomasmc gets knocked off the podium and drops way down to 14th. Gilbert was a popular choice for the win.

    Top 10 :O!

It'll all be downhill once the races last more than a day...
  • should have gone with my head instead of trying to break away for the rest  though i dont think ive learned with my Fleche pick

This is what's so good about PTP, different people make up points on different kinds of races. And then there's me, consistently poor throughout :D

I'm away for the weekend. Any chance of an early pick for L-B-L? I'll have Valverde. Cheers.

Cumulonimbus won't be at the top for long. I'm sure something will cloud his judgment in the coming races.

I didn't have insider information, honest.

But I was rather pleased to see something prevent Valverde from winning Amstel - seeing as the UCI won't ban him...

No... it would be a bit unfair to change the scoring rules halfway through the season.

That's 'cos we don't know where you were 'preparing'. Did you follow FJS to St Moritz?

Looking forward to the Giro, I think I'll develop a policy of picking the obvious pick everyday and seeing how far it gets me.

Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever.
