I am really going to have to pull a few rabbits out of the bag in the classics to make up for my terrible start this year!"I have a lovely photo of a Camargue horse but will not post it now" (Frenchfighter - July 2013)0
-
Gosh, second place Better enjoy it while it lasts!0
-
FJS is pulling out an even bigger lead, well done. And thanks to AFX.
I joined the forum and sat out of this contest for a couple of years as I knew it would take too much time and how right I was. I can't sit and wait for the race, there's now a start sheet to check, a course profile to be examined and the final kilometre to be investigated :twisted:0 -
I was exactly the same for the first year, then signed up. It's ridiculously addictive.0
-
I'm gutted I didn't change Thor after he pulled out of the 1st race at the weekend.
Hope it doesn't cost me at the end of the year.0 -

-
Aah cool, no worries; thank you and thanks for the sterling work on the PTP as a whole dude0
-
I'm going to be without a computer for a few days and I can't find a PTP Paris-Roubaix thread yet, so can you stick me down for CANCELLARA please for this weekend. Thanks.0

goin to be a struggle to hit the top ten again..."If I was a 38 year old man, I definitely wouldn't be riding a bright yellow bike with Hello Kitty disc wheels, put it that way. What we're witnessing here is the world's most high profile mid-life crisis" Afx237vi Mon Jul 20, 2009 2:43 pm0

I'm enjoying this year's competition, thanks as ever go to the wonderful afx.
Part of this enjoyment comes from the fact that I'm doing well, but whatever.0 -
Cracked the top 21. MY year is done. 8)0

Fixed!
Unlucky Pokerface.0 -
Damn. Two races missed this week and relying on the commissaire's good will for my Roubaix pick. PTP disaster! It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.0

Commissaire says: aye, no worries.

Onwards... to the Ardennes!0 -
Thanks AFX
Grr, my vanishing pick from the Scheldeprijs means I'm in 21st place... instead of 1st place. Just goes to show how one race can make all the difference.0 -
Interesting PTP this year... and interesting week .... everything very close together now, from almost 100 points between nr1 and nr 20 to less than 50 points.
Thanks AFX for the hard work; it's been a busy week.0 -

Could be worse. I went from 5'th to 20'th. All because I couldn't bring myself to choose Valv.Piti for overall in Pais Vasco.Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0 -
Not that its going to shoot me up the leaderboard, but I didn't get any points for picking Valverde for the Pais Vasco GC.0
