Just sold my Hope 4 led .. only used it once since i bought it and that was 1 lap at the SITS !! .. didnt see the point of keeping a £300 light and not using it ... would rather spend a hour on my turbo trainer in the warm !!

Hi,
Been following this thread for a while, just registered to say I'm keen on the next outing.. few things though - I've never ridden as a group so I've no idea how in shape I am, I'm currently doing about 25 road miles a couple of times a week. Secondly I've never done one of these proper trail centres but fancy a bash.

I'd hope to have the Lobster built and tested for this too.

Hiya Paul,

The idea of the group is to get out and enjoy it without worrying about how fit everyone else is but if you're getting out regularly you should be just fine.

Where abouts are you? I get out some Sundays with the local CTC club riders but would be nice if there was someone else out on a roadie once in a while.

Good on yer girl.....practise practise........

Will be goin to formby pinewoods meself 2moz afternoon for a blast up and down the hilly tracks, that'll clock up a good 20 mile by the time i get home again, next w/end am goin to rivvi for a scout round the back of the tower on the top, that'll get me legs burnin'......

If you can go i 'll meet you at the lower barn cafe on the reservoir side of rivington lane,

I'm here cos I have an early start tomorrow. 36 mile XC route to be ridden and if I could shake this bloody cold I'd be looking forward to it.

Good evening Ches, hope the weather is kind to you for 2moz mate, i know you can do it, it's for a good cause anyway, by the time you get stuck into it you'll have forgotten about yer cold and it'll soon be 36 mile behind you, been there meself on a charity ride for leaukemia research full of cold and enjoyed it so much by the time i finished i'd forgotten about me 'sniffles' and surprisingly felt better afterwards.........

Caught up with this bit of the thread a few days late, after a few PM's from Cheshley. If the 2 of you wanted to do an intermediate at Dalby, you could either wait for the guys to do the beginners course & then join them whenever they book the int, or you could book a date that suits you. I only need 3 as a minimum to run a group course, or a 1:2 price is also based on this. If it's not short notice though, chances are someone else will book anyway to make the minimum. Drop me a PM if you're both interested. Most people who want to learn drops & jumps get there in a day, believe it or not. You'll learn plenty more than that in a day as well.

Dalby's a great place for courses as there's plenty to learn on that doesn't end in disaster if you don't get the technique right.

Good evening to you to Caz, glad you got out today......i got stuffed with my rear derailleur when the b tension screw stripped it's threads, in other words a new rear mech is gonna have to be gotten......more burnt holes in the pocket !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
