For the relatively cheap price of spokes you may as well buy half a dozen, they are easy to fit and youl'l find that one broken one doesn't bend your rim, if you get a spoke tightening tool and feel the tightness of the other spokes for reference and undo each one a half turn before you fit new one on and once fitted to the tightness of the others then nip 'em up the half turn you initially undid them.

If want you can undo the opposite spoke to the broken one and count the turns as you undo it and then put the new one and the opposite loosened one to the correct tightness.
But dont forget to loosen them half a turn before fitting new spoke.

Having a run along the ridgeway this weekend.... gonna scope it out for the BIG run next month...

Would be more than happy to show you guys around the area if ya fancy a weekender in the summer. Free camping can be arranged bit short on shower blocks though (its a mates field) some good singletrack and flowing downhills too.

@ Phoebian definately doing the SDW challange thats the 8/9th May and fingers crossed for a dry weekend or from what I've been told its gloop city and hard graft peddling down as well as up.

Going to do an end to end ridgeway a couple of weeks before as prep... currently doing 16/17 miles 3/4 times a week to build some miles up. Going to increase that gradually leading up to it and do more hill work as well to put some miles in my legs.
