So how does sportful compare to Castelli for quality and sizing? I've only recently become aware of the connection with the two and the deals look great on Sportful and I really like the Castelli gear.

I had some Sportful bibshorts a while ago. I'm XL in dhb and got the XL from Sportful and it was a bit tight but OK. They didn't seem to get baggy as quickly as the (cheap) dhb ones did.
Cut was good although the shoulder straps were a bit narrow and the first few times it was difficult to get them central over my nips.
Material felt thin, but was pretty durable and didn't get bobbly so was really nice for warm days.

I've got legs like Hoy and a fatter arse so if they fit me OK they probably are a bit of a funny shape

For comparison, Aldi/Lidl and Btwin stuff doesn't really fit me very well.

On the lookout for a direct drive turbo and their Saris H3 although not in the sale, with the £25 off for new sign ups bringing that to £450 seems a pretty good deal. (Currently oos although it should be back in soon)

Erg mode is very good in workouts and I've barely scratched the surface on mine bought at Easter from Rutland for £485, to replace my semi dead Direto.

I like long sleeve jerseys, but get frustrated when they quite often by default make them lined, or much thicker - trying to find one that is marginally warmer than a normal short sleeved jersey is still a bit of a mission,

I have 3 jerseys that perform this task, a Rapha training jersey, a Castelli one, and this Alé one, which is sublime, perfect fit, quality material, and just bl00dy good really.

Original price is £175, last week it was down to £90, then £70, and today a bonkers £52.50!
Combined with the fact that it is in clearance, so if you add some bits in to take it up to over £75 you can knock another tenner off, and not forgetting TCB, means you could end up getting it for a frankly bonkers ~£41.

Limited sizes in both, Grey only in XS and XXXL, Yellow is in XS, S & XXXL.
*The orange and black is £70, and is available in XS, XXL and XXXL.

I wear an S, and I would suggest if you want to fit into an XS, you'd need to be somewhere in the region of 58-64kg, and S probably 64-70kg - build dependent of course!

Rapha Pro Team Aero Long Sleeve is only very very slightly fleecy on the body and the sleeves are just summer-weight aero fabric (at least my 2020 end of season sale one is).

Pactimo Ascent Aero Long Sleeve is identical to the summer jersey but with long sleeves. They're always having sales & they have loads of different colour options, special editions, etc. I can't quite get the fit right for me though - got to go to a small to avoid flapping in the wind, but it makes the pockets so high up my back that I struggle to reach them - I'm clearly meant to be a medium.
