    One for Daniel B...
    https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/CLBMSSJ/b ... eve-jersey £10

Not sure if it has enough unripe banana yellow (green ;) ), even less sure if you will fit an XS.

    Wowsas, that's pretty special

    CLBMSSJ_P1.jpg?v=c

Pleased to hear it is strictly limited edition - wonder where they dug them up from?!

    *The camo is quite 2016ish.

Just ordered a couple of 3T Ernova Alu bars from Wiggle - one for the turbo bike, and one for my gf's winter bike - £20 a pop, 42cm only - though that equals 40 at the hoods.

    https://www.wiggle.co.uk/3t-ernova-pro-handlebar-1/

Not as stunning a deal as the carbon ones though I appreciate - which are somehow still on offer!

I'm tempted to buy a 2nd pair of the carbon Ernovas but still haven't fitted the ones I bought a few weeks ago....can't decide whether they're going on the Solace (which could do with a little reduced road buzz at the front) or the CR1 to shave off some more weight to help make it the lightweight 'climbing' bike...

Personally I would put them on your CR1, although don't you still have the suspension seatpost on it?
    Or is that pretty light?

If I didn't have Ritchey Carbon Streem bars on mine (Flat top and swept back) they would already be on there.

^ Yes, the CR1 still has the Canyon VCLS2-copy seat post which seems light enough though haven't weighed it. The added comfort would win out everyday for me, even if it was pretty weighty on the scales. Was considering getting some carbon Prime 28s for the CR1 to reduce the wheel weight a touch too. Think can get them for £421 with various discount codes plus TopCashBack. We'll see...

In other news I continue to be very tempted by this: https://www.on-one.co.uk/c/q/bikes/grav ... ce-chicken
Now only £1,299 for Rival1, 650b wheels and carbon frame. Tyre clearances look tighter than I'd expect though (says 38mm tyres with 700c wheels)?

I wish I’d spotted this earlier! The Elites were out of stock, but I’m pleased as punch with the Pros I bought instead. £20 for a pair of decent bib tights is a bargain and a half. And the wind proof gloves are great, too.

The ones I tried were a large. Bit short for me at 6'4" but probably fine for someone up to about 6 foot.

It's not when tracking workouts, especially running, I'm afraid.
Sweat really interferes with the heart rate reading.

You can probably find some second hand for not a lot - I've got a couple of sets I ought move on although they've seen a lot of winter.

Giant Conduct system can be had for not a lot, probably makes more sense to get that than new spyres.

Yeah, I spend lunchtime looking at brakes on ebay & gumtree...
The giant system looks good, but I'm being lazy and can't be bothered with the idea of re-cabling/re-winding the bar tape....

No doubt it works well when set-up but I wouldn't go for it as it looks to take up a lot of space on the bars with the cable runs reducing the available space on the bars for lights etc.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

it doesn't look that bad as far as I can tell - it looks to be more in front of the stem, and if you run a GPS out front and a camera/light underneath then yeah, that would be a mess.
For me, I've got everything above the bars or on the stem itself, so might work out.

Am hovering over the "buy" button for it at cycle store, where it's £100 at present for delvery in a mid may, and then work out if I need to buy a new stem...

[edit] - Or 88.75 delivered using code Egg10... Whoops, I slipped.

viewtopic.php?f=40042&t=13104779 has a 100mm Contact, but going on posts from a while back and being a tall lad, I suspect you want a 120mm or even a 130mm version.

My advice is that these stems are fine, cheap and compatible - https://www.tredz.co.uk/.Giant-Connect- ... _74809.htm

If you need something exotic then you will have to bodge it in some fashion (ie cable tie the conduct unit below the stem), but there is lots of scope to vary reach and rise with handlebars if so inclined, and you want a neat solution.

I can't recall where my buddy ordered a Conduct system from recently but he said it came in bits and without fluid - I'm going to give him a hand putting it all together (I've got one up and running which I've bled previously) but with the weather turning it has become a less pressing matter.

Having done a few bleeds now, my best advice is, take your time and let gravity do the work - don't try to rush things with syringes etc as this just tends to end up with air sneaking into the system in one place or another.
