    Pleasure!

I was dubious until I used it, but it's pretty easy to do, just take a couple of pictures, or upload screenshots of the return address, and then either the addressed and labelled package, and proof of payment, so a picture of the receipt with the destination postcode, amount paid, and date etc. They normally approve it within 3 days or so.

Aldi's turn for an early morning stampede of lycra wearing bargain hunters on May 9th. No idea of what's on offer yet so keep checking the app/website. It's also payday for me.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Cheers. That'll be interesting - I've got really fed up with their sizing recently, as they seem to have shortened all their jerseys, and now they no longer fit me - I've got about 6 that my OH picked up last year that just about do, whereas 3 years ago they were ~2 inches longer.

I keep looking at these and thinking that they seem to be a very good buy.
How do you go about changing the battery in them - hidden in the hub somehow?

How accurate/precise is measuring power at the hub compared to where the force is actually applied near cranks/pedals?

How accurate/precise is measuring power at the hub compared to where the force is actually applied near cranks/pedals?

What I read seemed to suggest to within 1.5% - used to be the default\only option I think.
Probaly more accurate there anyway isn't power at the pedals does not necessarily result in the same power reaching the wheel, due to drivetrain losses etc

Surprised it can also calculate cadence.

Have sent link to a mate who was after a power meter, and also likes DT Swiss wheels.

It would seem they weigh 1800g as a pair.

Definitely a good price, bugs me a bit that you can't buy the power hubs on their own for less - they're often still listed at £500. At £200 I would bite their hands off.

Still, tempted to get a set to complement my crank powermeter - would save a bit of swapping around.

10% off Vittoria tyre pairs at Merlin, £40 for 700x25 Rubino Pro G2.0s with tubes looks a decent deal.

Rutland have 10% off sale bikes that are not pre-loved...
    https://www.rutlandcycling.com/bikes/ro ... ium_381943 for ~£900 isn't bad.
    https://www.rutlandcycling.com/bikes/ro ... red_371698 for ~£1145 isn't too bad either.
    It's a return, so "SAVE10" won't work, but https://www.rutlandcycling.com/bikes/ro ... rey_466185 for ~£994 isn't bad spec.

I want to like Galibier but everything I’ve had from them is just not quite right.

They’ve just launched a new aero overshoe (I do quite a bit of TT) that’s about half the price of NoPinz offering but I’m reluctant to get them because I just know something won’t be quite right despite the claims.

I ordered a set of these using the "Smoothairflow" code they e-mailed me which brought them down to £22. Which is considerably less than half the price of NoPinz or Rule28 so worth a try in my book.

And the verdict is... OK. I would never pay £50 for a set of overshoes, which lets face it will get destroyed in a season, but £22 doesn't seem too steep. The "something that won't be quite right" to me is the upper section which isn't a nice super sheen lycra with raised edges like NoPinz, but a rather more prosaic affair, similar in feel to Castelli Nanoflex with a very light fleece backing. I'd imagine this will be very welcome in early season "Hardriders" events but not so much in the height of summer. The "trip strips" are essentially rubber grippers on the outside, barely raised at all, so not sure how much effect they could actually have.

They certainly look the business, and even if the fabric isn't quite right and the trip strips are purely decorative, they really smooth the profile of your shoes and the transition to your ankles so I'm sure there will be aero benefits, certainly vs my old DHB lycra overshoes.

Thanks NO, have ordered some of their CO2 canisters and trigger thingy - never used one before.
Also one storage winch, and some of those little floor stands which look pretty neat.

Nice feedback. I almost pulled trigger on Friday but was bit concerned about sizing and fact that trip strips were only on outside.
Currently use nopinz tripsocks, paired with velotoze and had just got through another pair (average about a set per season). Ended up getting and set for a tenner so went with what I know works.

Really easy to change the battery, the non drive side end cap screws off using a supplied tool and the battery is just inside.

I like retro styled cycling gear, and these are highly impressive. Very soft, smooth leather. Just the right amount of padding, not too much. Look superb. I had a medium speed crash on a descent, where I momentarily lost concentration and these survived without a scratch, luckily.

These look like a possible upgrade for my Mavic Aksiums.

Seems strange that nearly all the wheelsets are no longer available on the powertap website though. What could be the reason for this?

They might just not be selling. Crank/Pedal options seem to be much more popular out in the wild.

Most keen riders now also have a mixture of rim and disc brakes, perhaps even different thru axle standards on their bikes, which all make wheel solutions less desirable.
