20% off tyres at PlanetX using PRBURNRUBBER20 basket code until end of Wednesday 20th June.

A few decent deals if you scour the selection eg. X-One Bite Evo Liteskin £20 each.

^ this. If the discount is so large that the total amount you're paying for the product and delivery is obviously a lot less than it would cost to post it to you, then the seller may have made an error. Especially worth bearing in mind if the purchase is something you didn't really want/need in the first place, but decided to buy anyway because it was a bargain.

I've just ordered 4 tyres and a bunch of inner tubes, which I was going to need in a couple of months anyway, for approximately half the amount I was expecting to pay. If the deal falls through for some reason, I'll have to go back to the original plan and order them at full price in September...

I went for the DT Swiss RR21's from CRC only to be let down, they sent the rear and then told me that they are out of stock of the front and cancelled the part order.

Has anybody spotted anywhere selling the front RR21 at a reasonable price? Otherwise the rear will be returned.

As asked in the other thread, what would make you choose this over a Perfetto/Gabba w/ arm warmers on any given day?

I would have thought £54 is reason enough?
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

That's what's held me back from buying it. I can't imagine when I would choose it over the Perfetto / Gabba and arm warmer combo. It's a great price though as it looks a good bit of kit.

Cotswold Outdoor have a few pairs of Endura Pro SL II shorts for £80.
Unfortunately for me, it's only the regular length and not long length.

    What too long?

I guess I have long Femurs, as they are nowhere near my knee.

Agreed, the pad is bonkers good for the money you can pick them up occasion - £43 is the lowest I have seen (The original model).

Too short. They're actually the shortest shorts I own despite being 'long'. The FS260's this is, I'm not sure if the length changed at all with the new ones.

    DFS deals, no links...

Build your own Apex 1 mechanical disc Pickenflick for £1k.

Also 20% off saddles with PRBATSADDLES20 until midnight 22nd, someone might fancy the last san-marco-concor-light-racing-team-saddle for ~£27 or a wtb-volt-sport-saddle for ~£8

Looks to be some decent saddle bag deals, especially on Lezyne ones, starting at £5 for the white Micro Caddy Saddle Bag and Phone Caddy Bag.

£25 for 5mm thick Minoura turbo mat (does have reputation to tear easily).

I'm no weight-weenie, I was more interested in reducing road buzz and wondering if it would make any difference going from alu to carbon with a 31.6mm post?

Yep definitely dampens road buzz (CF naturally does this), seriously for £35 get it bought.

My Colnago uses a proprietary post and my others are 27.2mm otherwise I'd have one on the way.

Best get searching for bars and stem then

I have all Ritchey on one bike, but then with the Synapse with the 25.4 seatpost you are severely restricted - on one I have Dale seatpost, 3T stem and bars, on tuther I have Dale Save seatpost, zipp stem (Bargain, light and pretty) and 3T bars.

Never underestimate the difference a good seatpost can make, swapping out my alu 3T for alu Zipp has been night and day, i was ready to stop riding my Scott SL before that change, also a good quality alu will be better than a cheap carbon hands down.
