40% off Time pedals, not compared with elsewhwere, but could be some bargains there.
Almost tempted to try an Xpresso model, I've had my 2006 ATAC Carbon XS on the Cube the last year and I'm aware that newer ATACS have had quality control issues (shearing around the cleat securing mechanism IIRC). This would mean buying some new shoes to replace my 2006 Shimano sh-m121g pair. Which makes me tempted to try...

White or black to go with grey/black/orangey-red Cube?
If I can then find £63+ worth off gear bargains I could do with from CRC, I could finally make use of the 10% BC discount! Bits I fancy and/or are consumables worth having include...
27.2mm carbon post (for Cube)
Carbon 31.6mm clamp bars, short reach? (for Cube)
28mm latex tubes (to try on Cube, albeit the current 28mm Conti Grnad Sport Races are ~31mm wide, so may need wider tubes)
11-speed chain (going to be replacing original soon, using current spare KMC)
11-speed cassette (the spare went on the Direto, original has done ~2200 miles)
8-speed cassette (for Voodoo, thinking of trying something like 13-26 to replace current 11-30 for smoother steps and cadence refinement, just unsure if the Shimano M310 rear mech would be happy with 26T largest sprocket when it can do at least 36T by default and possibly even 40T if it's the same model on Whyte 403 kids bike)================
2020 Voodoo Marasa
2017 Cube Attain GTC Pro Disc 2016
2016 Voodoo Wazoo0 -

I replace a cassette after 3 chains. That is usually 6-10k miles. That's a 2-4x cassette saving. The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.0 -

Yes, still cheap. Their royal sale today had a lot of money off Cinelli/Pistard sunglasses. Not just for on the bike either, look really cool. Limited options, but I picked up a pair for £15 normally over £100.

They have a Cateye Volt 1200 for £7 more- doesn't have the remote and can't charge other devices - but looking at the comparison - for basically the same money I'd rather have the Cateye ... especially as I have other cateye lights so have plenty of mounts!0

I had the dubious pleasure of getting my order fulfilled by Planet X and received what I ordered.
When I say what I ordered I actually got two orders delivered. On the downside they charged me twice too. CBA to bother with a refund for £12-95, the stuff will get used, just slightly miffed that the postage amounts to eight quid on two separate orders.
Lesson learned.
Anyone posting offers from Planet X on here in future goes on the list.FCN = 40 -

Those Demo Cycliq Fly12's flew out of stores -tried to order one last night, only for it to be gone by the time I had logged into topcashbackIntent on Cycling Commuting on a budget, but keep on breaking/crashing/finding nice stuff to buy.

I did wear my Aldi Rapha Ripoff the other weekend - it seemed as good as any other base layer I've used. Can't see the point of buying the Rapha version.0
