Jessops 119, using a code (check hkud for details)

Found the code and the local store is showing stock. Guess where I'm going in the morning?
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

DhB Aeron Carbons for £48 or Garneau Platinums for £50, or Bont Riots, or Shimano RP3s for £57?
Loads of cheap choices here (used size filter)

    Strangely "cheap" at £255.

Effectively making a pair of http://www.wiggle.co.uk/continental-gra ... road-tyre/ free over other sites I've seen those wheels (tyres £28 each, including the 700x28, that will measure ~31mm on 17mm internal rim width wheels).

Pair of what, the wheels, tyres, or both?

Nice deal on latex tubes, £6, including the 25-28mm version http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/vitt ... prod124087

If those Fulcrum 4s were not a slightly portly ~1690g, I'd very tempted to buy wheels, tyres and tubes today using the TCB £2.50 bonus this weekend.

It's pretty much the same price at Wiggle (the bundle is cheaper) which would be a better place to order it from assuming you're in the UK.

So when should I expect nice sales on arm warmers? Need to complement my gabba, plus I'm tired of the oscillating temperatures making long-sleeve jerseys too warm for the afternoon commute, but too cold in the morning to ride in short sleeve.

Wiggle has Castelli Thermoflex's for £18, but my pennypincher self wouldn't be happy to find out massive discounts hit arm warmers in June.

Did anyone get an email today / yesterday about evans' ebay store having 20% off again? I thought I'd deleted something earlier but can't find it and now I want something off them!

To match a Gabba you want the Nanoflex arm warmers which are the same water resistant material. I have a pair and they're good, not super warm but repeal water nicely. I got mine from Hargroves for £20.99.

Are you sure? I'm viewing in euros (based in NL) and wiggle app shows 520 as 251 euros.
Out of interest, is sub 200 euros for it doable? Not a member of BC.

Got mine from Start Fitness for £27 but now resting them for the summer hopefully. The first time I wore them I was sweating on the outside of the armwarmers

I've a convertible Perfetto but for this time of year I use it sleeves off with a pair of merino arm warmers from Planet X - only in black though - for £5 a pair plus postage.

Enough warmth for early starts, even with light rain, and pack down small when temperatures rise.

I have pro team arm screens and use them on all rides now. It's amazing. They not only take away chill in the mornings and on descents, but, also, have SPF40 and protect well against sun on the hot days. I never use my Nanoflex (they are very good) any more as i just use jackets when it gets cold or rainy.

Yeah - I actually use what officially are called 'arm coolers'. They are more pleasant when its sunny than putting lotion on and do actually seem to keep you a little cooler. But they also act as arm warmers in colder weather too. And they are more stretchy but without being tight than all the arm warmers I ever tried, which are either too tight around the elbow or too loose at the top in my experience. Mine were from Pearl Izumi and I love them, all year around.

isnt the 1000 the really dodgy model? I thought thats why they quickly made the 1030?

Hope not, reviews are pretty favourable including one from BR dated this year?

    https://www.bikeradar.com/road/gear/cat ... 000-48415/

I think battery life is much better on the 1030 (almost double the capacity) but other than that the reviewer felt it wasn’t much of an upgrade on the 1000?
Then again I’ve had an 800 since 2011 and have heard/read lots of negative stuff about it but it’s never given me any problems and the battery is still good for 8 plus hour rides and I use it every day. Literally not figuratively!
Considered the Elemnt but not sure it’s for me, more emphasis on serious training and racing which isn’t my thing, navigation capability and a large screen are my requirements.
