Garmin 520 bundle with HR strap, cadence and speed sensors.
Halfords Spend and Save discounts bring it down to £174 before any further BC 10% discount
http://www.halfords.com/cycling/cycling ... eed-sensor
Did you get this from store in the end? My order got messed about the unit in store is been allocated was not an ex display model and was missing one of the sensors, so they have ordered one in from another store, not holding my breath though.
. Fuming, wasted 2 hour round trip ;-(Intent on Cycling Commuting on a budget, but keep on breaking/crashing/finding nice stuff to buy.

Ordered from 1 store and got a call following day to say they'd messed up- no stock. Ordered from another: double checked via phone to double check as didn't want to waste a journey. It turned out not to be the performance bundle. Fair play to the guy, and Halfords, as he chucked in a premium hrm, cadence sensor and knocked off further £25. BC discount used on top. Will sell the hrm, out front mount and sensor as don't need so should get unit for bargo price.
Ps. I hate you lot
Pps. I also got a tub of the chamois cream0 -

Nice to know they do exist. I bloody hope mine is too, as otherwise the batteries are typically dead and the screen is burnt In on demo units.
I've "bought" £150 of Gift Card to pay for this; if they can't deliver I'm really annoyed as I can't get a 130 from themIntent on Cycling Commuting on a budget, but keep on breaking/crashing/finding nice stuff to buy.

Halfords currently have the JetBlack WhisperDrive DDM Trainer + App reduced to £262.61. http://www.halfords.com/cycling/turbo-trainers/trainers/jetblack-whisperdrive-ddm-trainer--app
This isn't marked as an internet exclusive so British Cycling members should be able to get a further 10% off.
The next best price I can find for this trainer is £409.99 at Tredz. The price has been creeping down at Halfords, but it may go up again pretty soon. The reviews seem okay.

is this a viable option for someone wanting a trainer who is not wanting to subscribe to the on line training/simulation websites? I understand how the trainer works but I am confused what functionality the app brings to a non smart trainer?0 -

I went 1 red, 1 black, 1 orange. Well, it's rude not to, and I'm taking a gamble on the colourway of my next bike..

Think it depends what you buy (see post on the previous page). A single Carnac tool bottle came up free delivery for me but that may not apply for all items.0 -

it appears If you ONLY buy the carnac bottle cages, delivery is free.
