We've had an excellent crop in the back garden. I'm actually starting to get sick of eating blackberry and apple crumble.
Haha, just kidding, noone could ever get sick of eating crumble.0 -

We have reclaimed the bottom 20ft of garden from bloody brambles, how I hate them, and there snakey thorny ways - I take great enjoyment from burning them on a bonfire.
Enjoy eating them, just don't want them in my garden :twisted:Felt F70 05 (Turbo)

You should invest in some thornless blackberries. Much friendlier in every way. And bigger fruit (if you can keep the birds off them)0

Can you get cycling specific blackberries?
Perhaps this could be a new range to rival Curranz - call them Berreez or something similar...0 -

There's a Planet X fixie going cheap somewhere in London at the moment... Might need a front brake fitted though.0 -

£510 with TRP hydraulic brakes, 40mm WTB Nano tyres, eccentric BB.
It looks a pretty good buy, only slight negative is alloy fork, but at that price it would be worth doing a carbon fork upgrade... And it will still come in cheaper than any other SS I know of with hydraulics!================

Eccentric bottom bracket is definitely the way to go for single speed with rear disk brakes. It's a right faff getting the chain tension and the rotor aligned with sliding dropouts.
I'm using a conventional dropout frame and a chain tensioner but that has problems of it's own - I had to convert the tensioner from push down to push up (did this ghetto style with cable ties...) and had to buy a half-link chain to get the chain the right length anyway.0 -

Seconded - if there's ever a candidate for tubeless/solid/decent puncture-resistant tyres, it's an Alfine-hubbed, horizontal drop-out frame with disks and mudguards. FaffmaxLocation: ciderspace0 -

Looks like the EOL 2017 sales are starting, Rutland have voucher codes for up to £100 off £1000 purchase.
The 2017 Cube Attain GTC Pro is 20% discounted to ~£1350, then use "SUMMER100" to drop that to ~£1250.
http://www.rutlandcycling.com/bikes/roa ... rey_373882
You will probably want a frame size bigger than normal, check the geometry at https://www.cube.eu/uk/2017/road-triath ... reen-2017/ . Mine is a 58cm for me at 5'10" and ~32.5" cycling inseam (torso of someone ~6'1"), normally I'm 56cm frames.
If it's like the May promo code, Topcashback will be declined, but you can always try your luck.;)================

If so, I would personally suggest they are more like Castelli. Having said that, Myles is very active, and will respond to queries quickly usually, around any sizing questions.
For me, they are a good solid brand, who make no nonsense high quality items.
Not a huge fan of most of their colourways, but that's an infinitely personal thing I realise!

I had that issue wth some merino base layers once, but I don't think it was down to them - some of their stuff they ship from Ireland, so it all depends, if it catches the plane or boat for that day.
My bundle arrived, and alas the shorts are a tad too small, as they advised admittedly, so I need to return them for a medium.
Had I read the reviews I likely would have figured that out

I've been looking for a shimano r8000 disc groupset, settled on mechanical disc so i can reuse the shifters if i upgrade to etap, looking at the complete groupset come to about £750 makes no sense because you can buy each part for less than £650

I was looking at buying a new bike in the sales but at that price I'll build one myself0 -
all from CRC or Merlin cycles, pretty much the same after discounts on both sites, i wouldn't bother with the ugly R8000 crankset, i'll stick a Rotor 3D24 for £184 + praxis chainrings (£100).Rule #5 // Harden The Feck Up.

These for a tad over £20 are bloody brilliant - not sure how waterproof (Don't think they claim to be) they are, but if you are out on a cold winters day, and want proper windproofing WITH adequate padding on the palm, these are AWESOME.
Especially love the way they are not thick, so you still have full dexterity, and also the way you can either tuck the gloves under your jacket\jersey, or vice versa - makes for such a snug feel.
I bought a pair 3 years ago from CRC, and they are still going strong, so have just bought these for when they do wear out.

Did it ever arrive?
I sent my small shorts back (first class large letter would you believe for £1.30) on Monday, arrived with them on Wednesday, and they let me know yesterday the medium pair were on their way. Expect I won't get them until Monday now, as going to work address.
Very keen to try them, think they mighht be right up there in terms of fit and comfort with the best - had originally just bought them for turbo use.Felt F70 05 (Turbo)
