Nothing for Mr Average - a few XXLs and most is tiny roadsnake fit
im really unconvinced its real stuff...

I thought of that possibility but decided it was unlikely - if you are gonna sell rip offs then you sells mediums and larges and clear a profit and disappear. I think that it is more that it is not just last season but sometimes 3-4 years old

I too think they are legit, if you look at their feedback, and the close up pics, it all smacks of a genuine setup to me.
Have never bought anything, as they have never had anything in Small or medium that I have seen.

These guys are legit. When the official Rapha ebay site went a lot of their stuff moved on to here (slightly more expensive though). They will also knock more off price if you buy direct (they would when I contacted them about Rapha GT shoes a while back anyway).

    ^^ebay/Rapha/t4u store

They have some stuff in normal sizes every now and then. Picked up two pairs of the touring shorts last week. Ended up about the same price as some Hoy/Vulpine ones I got a year ago, but the fit is actually decent rather than fitting like a couple of carrier bags as the Hoy ones were.

Does anyone know how Rapha's XS compares with Sportful's XS? I find Sportful's XS generally spot on but not sure about Rapha. Bit tempted with the Pro Team Jacket for £70.

No direct help, but for me I find Sportfuls medium is the same as Rapha's medium.

Thankyou dhope, you just saved me £114 which can now go towards a turbo trainer :D

What does everyone think of this:

    https://www.cyclerepublic.com/boardman- ... AmQM8P8HAQ

I know it's not a 'bargain' bargain but the spec looks amazing for the price, Di2, disks etc.

Don't suppose anyone has actually got one and can say whether it's good or bad?

If I had two and a half grand spare to drop on a new 'good bike' I'd certainly consider it. Although to be fair, if I had that sort of cash I might not spend so much time on the bargains thread....

The weight seems pretty high to me - 8.2kg quoted - I suppose DI2 and disks doesn't help.

Don't forget the £10 off for new customers!

Joking aside, for the spec, that looks pretty good no?
The equivalent dale is now an eye watering £3800
A 17% price hike from some 8 months ago and last years model, that had a nicer paint job imho.
Equivalent Trek also has an RRP of £3700.
So my man maths would say that you are saving £1200!
8.2kg sounds about spot on, the Dale is 8.5 IIRC, but of course you can chop that down with some lighter wheels.

Last I read, Di2 was as light as (if not lighter than) mechanical - I may, however, be wrong - the difference will be very small either way.

I think the issue there are probably the wheels and the discs, you can probably go under 8kg with a change of wheels, tyres, rotors.

    Here we are:
    https://thebikelane.com.au/2015/06/2015 ... t-weights/

At ultegra level, 100g heavier, although this will be reduced by Di2 cables being lighter than conventional gear cable & outer.

Dura Ace is closer (and possibly a win for Di2 after cables).

This probably explains what I read:
there is an incorrect weight listed in Shimano’s specs for the Dura-Ace 9000 front derailleur, it’s listed as 158 grams when it should be 67 grams, a difference of 91 grams. This is probably the reason that a lot of reviews list the Di2 groupset as lighter than the mechanical groupset when in fact the mechanical is the lighter of the two groupsets.

As I'm tiny and skinny, I could fill my boots with this stuff but am clueless on older Rapha stuff. For you long term Rapha fans are there any bargains on jackets? Are these classics or a bit outdated now? Obviously I don't "need" any of them.....

    Hardshell jacket £65:

    ProTeam jacket £63:

    Rain jacket £50:

Sports rain jacket (same as above one???) £60:

Every one of those is excellent. Not only are they not outdated some are not available (such as the hardshell).

That hardshell was £250 and worth every penny.

The only one that I have experience of is the rain jacket. Is it worth £50? Possibly.
It wasn't worth 1/2 full price what ever that was. Boil in the bag breathability.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.
