Oxygen jacket for £38 if you like red and are a medium.

Yep, ta got one of those coming my way
I am confused by this, as also are Amazon - is it a jersey or a jacket?
Can anyone link to the same item on another site, as I am seeing ones that are slightly different, windstopper etc.
Looking to buy it (medium) for my bro who is probably a 39\40" chest - reckon it would fit?
It is more like a softshell jersey than a proper jacket. So more like an Alpha jersey for 1/3 of the price.
Thankyou for that, seems like a potentially good buy then - although this page:

Seems to suggest a Medium would be good for a 35-37" chest - anyone comment, or have experience of that?Felt F70 05 (Turbo)

I would say that is not true, I am a 38-39" myself and well I haven't received it yet, but I am always a Medium for Gore jerseys and jackets so I can't see how this one should be that differentx-x-x-x-x-x-x-x

Thankyou again, thought that seemed a little bit unlikely, and stingy for a medium!
I think I will order it, and see if it is loose on me, and then make a judgement call on whether it will fit him or not,
Be interested to hear what you make of the fit when you do receive it.

Quite often they come sooner than they advertise.
Looks like I landed the last one at that price, now up to £113.90 :shock:Felt F70 05 (Turbo)

39 chest here, always get medium in Gore stuff for a nice close fit. I reckon they're almost exactly a size bigger fitting than the usual suspects Castelli, Sportful, Rapha etc.0 -

Mine just landed on the desk. Great fit and thinner than my current Endura ones, so I think they are a keeper. Definitely a bargain at a tenner!0

It's a web thing. Happens a lot on Amazon and Ebay and I'm not sure what it's all about. Take an example, Sonos Play 5 on ebay, £790. RRP (well it has gone up recently) was £429 when they were selling on ebay for £790.
I've always assumed it's some kind of weird capital/tax dodge weird thing,My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Sellers use it when they're either away or low on stock to avoid paying to list again... New listings cost the seller £, price changes are free. If you're silly enough to buy at £absurd, seller can get it elsewhere & shipped to you and still be up on the deal by a tidy sum.0

Makes sense. Although it happens the other way too. I got a Gore jersey a while ago. List price was showing as £31 - £130. Just so happened that only 1 size and colour was available at the £31. I bought it, then returned to the page to show a colleague, the price for the same item/size/colour was back to £130 within seconds. No way the seller would have had time to edit it.Cycling prints

Mine just turned up. Absolutely stunning value for 10 quid. Feel really nice and soft. Love the stretchy extended cuff section. No chance of any cold gaps with these beauties!0 -
Chapeau order arrived today, socks are great and the thermal LS jersey fits great. Cuffs are tight yet stretchy too! Cheers0

Yep, mine turned up this morning and likewise, very pleased for less than a tenner. Someone further up likened them to an Aldi/Lidl pair but these are a good couple of steps up the quality ladder to anything I've seen in Aldidl.0 -
I've got them to slot in between the Aldi ones (heavy), the Craft ones (even warmer) and then my Castelli lightness and Defeet onesMy blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Problem is now I've started looking at other stuff. What's their sizing like on other items? Realistic or Italian?0 -
Realistic. And the size guides are helpful. No reason why, if the chart matches your size, they shouldn't fit properly.
I like Chapeau as a company, I think they've come a long way. That thermal jersey is one of the best too.My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Glove sizer here http://www.chapeau.cc/emailimages/WinterGloveSizeChart.pdf - seems to work as I measured up as small, and the gloves fit like err, a glove0 -

Yep, mine appeared this morning too.
They are a bargain for £8 but don't appear to be as well made as my Gore Power ones, which are ace. For £8 I can't complain though :-)x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x

Good spot Bender,

Chapeau do free returns, right? Gloves ordered in small and medium, as the Alè's I'd got a couple of weeks ago aren't waterproof as Cyclestore claimed. Worn now so can't return, warm though so will get used when proper cold and dry. My new Vulpines are too tight to wear with liners, so not warm enough for a cold winter on their own (but great windproof gloves for dog walking, or riding in spring, so pretty good for a tenner). Hope the Chapeau's are as good as my Aldi gloves before the fixed liner eventually pulled out and refused to play nicely when I tried to get them back into the fingers! Still think I may have got to many gloves though  :oops:Titus Silk Road Ti rigid 29er - Scott Solace 10 disc - Kinesis Crosslight Pro6 disc - Scott CR1 SL - Pinnacle Arkose X 650b - Pinnacle Arkose singlespeed - Specialized Singlecross...& an Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray 4 string...0
