Worth scouring PX for bits and bobs of interest, prices appear to have changed overnight now the fixed Feb pricing promise is over, generally for the better.

Yes, for example they have Campag Khamsin Wheelsets for £75 again. http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/WPCAKHAM/campagnolo-khamsin-wheelset

They have been that price in a previous DFS sale though I do recall.

They are still showing as in stock, so assuming either their stock system is shocking, OR you are struggling to find £25 of stuff to get free delivery!
    Felt F70 05 (Turbo)
Marin Palisades Trail 91 and 06
    Scott CR1 SL 12
    Cannondale Synapse Adventure 15 & 16 Di2
    Scott Foil 18

Unless their postage policy has changed again since December, wheels are one of the items excluded from free delivery, even if you spend over 100 squids.

Those Khamsims look interesting for £75, no idea if they are better than the Alex 270s that came with my Felt F5C, as are the Reet'ards they found in the warehouse (same rim as my FatNotFat wheelset).

I've been really pleased with my Khamsins. Covered a lot of winter miles including a couple of attempts at Paris Roubaix, had very few issues. In fact, hub needed some attention after first P-R (LBS did it for free) but otherwise not had ANY issues whatsoever (not so much as a spoke needing adjusting). I would conclude that they are very hardwearing.

The Khamsins had disappeared when I tried to find them. Not that I need any wheels...

I snapped up the Khamsins in the last DFS sale for £75 - they haven't put a foot wrong in all weather's. 1500 miles now and not needed any adjustment at all.

I spotted these the other day:
    http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/LIPHBHLL/p ... -led-light (£0.50 + £4.00 p&p)
Ordered a few and they came the next day with the standard delivery. Light output is OK for a be seen light (impressive for what it is), but mine was off when I got home - either it broke or I forgot to turn it on...

TK Maxx have these in pairs for £4.99, reduced from an RRP of £12.99 (allegedly)

I bought a red one of these too as part of the shopping binge to make the postage worthwhile:
    http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/LIJOCAPE/j ... -led-light
It's quite nice and brightness is OK although I think it will eat the lithium coin cells.

Anybody else received their Chapeau stuff (gloves) yet? Mine say dispatched if I click a link through the invoice, but nothing received yet? I am probably impatient, but wanted to check with others.

    Thanks

Not light, but the Reetards seem pretty robust.

Good to see someone here grabbed that pair of Khamsims, to be honest I'm amazed they lasted >24 hours at that price.

Any idea if they have leg grippers? I've got the shorts and they have no grippers so tend to ride up after a while.
  • Gabba 2 short sleeves for £79, I've heard a lot about these. Not sure if it's a good price or not?

You won't do much better than that price wise, think Mantel might have had them for £68 (?) last year, and somewhere else for £70, but they don't hang around for long.

Don't forget 5 odd % cashback through TCB as well, to lop a bit more off.

I think they are just like the shorts, they don't ride up for me and find them more comfortable than leg grippers.

The shorts work for me, it feels like they shouldn't, but they do.

I am confused by this, as also are Amazon - is it a jersey or a jacket?
Can anyone link to the same item on another site, as I am seeing ones that are slightly different, windstopper etc.
Looking to buy it (medium) for my bro who is probably a 39\40" chest - reckon it would fit?

It is more like a softshell jersey than a proper jacket. So more like an Alpha jersey for 1/3 of the price.
