I'm really tempted by the CAAD12 too, but I can't see the point given the Canyon Inflite that's already sitting downstairs. Disappointing

I have the original and it is very good indeed, though mine has the single zipped rear pocket (PITA) but this has 3 roadie rear pockets and a couple of other improvements. A good buy I reckon, and an alternative to the Alpha jacket.

Ah - actually I guess it depends whether you are comparing to the Alpha Jersey or Jacket. Comparing it to the Alpha Jacket may be about right. I just dont think of the Alpha Jacket because I dont have or need one, but I always think about the Alpha jersey because its just sooperb as far as I am concerned!
The Sportful Jacket looks/sounds like a Gabba with Roubaix lining on some parts?0 -
Sportful rate it from 0-15 degrees. I might not go as high as 15, but have worn mine around zero with a winter base and been good. The No Rain panel on the back gives it some enhanced breathability, and they use a lighter gore windstopper on the sides for the same reason. Front and arms have a fleecy inner feel. Now they've sorted the rear pockets it'll be a great jacket....more versatile than a Gabba I'd say, and certainly warmer in the cold.bendertherobot wrote:Heavier thing overall by the looks.
