Thanks - also have good discounts on Union 34 clothing; taken a punt on a pair of trousers for £20, but expecting more dare2b than rapha.
Thanks for that. I'd ordered some Union34 stuff from SportPursuit that's a little more expensive. Credit to SportPursuit though, they've accepted the price match and credited double the difference to my account

Off to buy some more from SP and find another price match!

I think I might go for a Joystick setup. Note that the Rutland page is pretty complicated in terms of packages and the discounts are higher if you order items individually. The basic Joystick with no mounts is £95 (34% off) - with a helmet mount it is £116 as a package (30% off) but the mount itself is only charged at £17.00 (43% off).

That said, I can see good deals elsewhere as well.......

I got a Joystick with a Red Eye rear light and handlebar mount for £99 at Evans a short while ago. Well worth it I highly recommend it.

Is this Union 34 stuff any good then, quite tempted by some of the trousers and possibly tops - any idea how the sizing pans out on them?

    This one?
Would code CPA2 (10%) or the one on previous pages (£5 off £20 or more) assist?

CPA2 doesn't cover Exposure. Half price is good enough for me anyway! I just need to source a helmet mount now.
Flubit no use for anything anymore....

If anyone is interested, I just ordered a coupe of pairs of Union 34 trousers to try, £20 each, popped a £7 water bottle in, and used the code RIDE5 to get £5 off, went through Quidco too.

Will report back once they have arrived.

Fair enough - offer is "Now discontinued", so hope those who wanted one managed to strike.

As to Union34 reviews, I found a couple on "The Discerning Cyclist" blog - shirt and trouser. Slightly above PR re-write, but may be of interest.

Seems to have! Order confirmed 90 minutes before your post so I might have got the last! Along with two Smart R2s and an R1 copy from Planet X and a possible planned Fibre flare purchase, I think I am getting my lighting sorted for the winter!

My soft-shell arrived and was put into immediate use when riding with my kids to and from football. Turns out its pretty nice, warm and definitely water resistant with the rain beading up and falling off. Pretty good for minus £13 quid after the double-price-match thing!

Been running the front one for the last few rides. I'm impressed and can see me using it alot. Very light and compact, USB charging is ideal and it's quite bright.

ECWEL5M will get you a fiver off; the CPA2 requires two items to get -10%.
I did read a couple of comments on an Australian bike site regarding the Blinder Road light, claiming that the strap quickly broke and it wasn't a replaceable item.

Good point; well made. However, "Dispatched from and sold by Amazon", so if it's moody, it'll go back for a refund.
Also - same pic on this £40 one.

yep saw those i suspect a lot of sellers, buy stock from Amazon and deliver it on. Those aren't SL chains, SL have double slits.

TK Max in Bath has loads of Dare2Be, Briko, and Craft Jerseys, plus a few odd pairs of bibs and a couple of nice Craft jackets (too big for me though).

Craft kit is excellent IMO, can often be found silly cheap in TK Max for some reason.
  • I reckon this should keep the chills away on the morning ride.... and reduced to £15
