I'm potentially interested.Sometimes parts break. Sometimes you crash. Sometimes it’s your fault.0 -
Visited Westbrook 2 weeks ago and alomst bought one of the foil framesets on offer but glad I hung on.
Phoned up Westbrook Wednesday last week (Wednesday) just to check the pricing of the Scott CR1 SL, they confirmed, they confirmed they had got a bulk order of 200 odd frames coming in.
I rand the local Scott Dealer in Cardiff and mentioned their 'price match policy' they told me they couldn't do it - so placed the order with Westbrook.
They told me frames were coming in Thursday/Friday and would be sending out Friday for delivery on Monday. Got a text/email last night saying it was being despatched.
Just got to work out of my chainset is compatible with the BB91 pressfit adaptor. Westbrook says my FSA Kforce will go straight into it - but there are mixed reports if it actually will!0 -

Hmm yes looks like a nice set of wheels. some good reviews. My c24's are on their way out. Might be a good replacement. Did I read somewhere that you could make tubular tyres into tubeless by using some kind of sealant on the market.
These can also run with tubes so make it ok if you get a puncture I guess.

Ah man this sight is costing me I have just bought a set of the white. They will look like black after a few rides. Black just gone out of stock even though £100 more. What tyres would people recommend with these?0 -

You can do it (I converted my CX wheels to tubeless) but do your research thoroughly as some tyre/rim combinations work better than others. There's also a limit to how much tyre pressure most combinations will take (though that's not an issue for CX where the whole point is to drop the pressure further than you can with an inner tube). I'm using Stans sealant and rim strips.Pannier, 120rpm.0 -

Sorry, completely new to running tubeless tyres. Can I just run a normal clincher tyre with these rims without a tube or do I need special tubular tyres such as hutchinson?
here is that stuff that I saw advertised that converts normal tyres by sealing them:

What are peoples views on running tubeless - is it worth it or should I just run with clincher and tubes.0
