Thanks for this one. Picked up a pair of the Craft Weather gloves. Arrived yesterday - good and wind proof, look very waterproof too. Should make a decent replacement for my knackered Gore ones.

The short sleeve version is only £47 so I suppose the remaining £10,618 is for the lower arms!

    Thanks for the tip.

I have got a spare £32,000 burning a hole in my pocket and thought I might get with matching shorts, gilet and socks.

Unfortunately the socks put me just over budget

Ha! Probikekit are really bad at pricing errors. Conversely to the above, there was a lad in classifieds a few weeks back selling a brand new wheelset that would normally cost a grand that he'd bought from PBK for about 50 quid. Since placing his order, he'd been expecting an email explaining the mistake, but his wheels arrived without problem a few days later.

I had noticed that some of the 70%off offers at the weekend were well short of 70%

What is the difference between butyl and normal tubes, realistically? I'm currently using those 6 for £10 (?) wiggle tubes, and they seem to be ok. will I really notice the difference in comfort of a butyl tube? I find it hard to belive myself.

Well you could get a nasty rash if you have a latex allergy?

You could also save less wattage than the margin of error in your powermeter though!

    I've just ordered 6.

    Sun - Cervelo R3

They're a lot smaller, so can fit more easily in a back pocket... apart from that I'm not sure I'm quite at the point in my cycling career where the few grams will make the difference between 1st or 2nd in the TdF

    Erm..... no.

    Butyl tubes *are* normal tubes.

You're thinking of latex tubes, which:
    Are more compact/lighter
    Have less rolling risk (allegedly)
Need to be pumped up every day (at least)
Cost twice as much as butyl tubes
    Pannier, 120rpm.

thanks :) aren't butyl tubes supposed to be a 'comfier' ride over your normal tyre, or have I got that wrong? If not then size won't make a difference as I've got a saddle bag.

Bought one and am immensely happy, bright and wide illumination, for £4 I couldn't really ask for more... just that the light button at the back was falling off...

The good news: there's a £15 discount on JE James's website.

The bad news: see the "Bought" thread.

Do you reckon this comes with a quick link. KMC usually do but no mention of it in the description

They usually do, and they have in all the chains I've bought from them. I'll let you know when the 2 that I've ordered turn up after Easter.

Isn't 108 links a bit shorter than most? Should be okay unless you've got an XXL frame and running a 53 front and 30+ rear, right?
