Out for this weekend. Working night shifts.
Bars are left in Plaisir's car from last time.

I've set up a 'London Calling - MTB' group on Facebook for discussions on trips to far off places or whatever you like.

Think I've set it up at least.

I can't access it from I-phone while on the move, would be slow with replies there.

Thought the iPhone could do everything? ! Isn't there an app for it? ;)

There's an email address for it also on the group site. Not sure how that works.

Keep the normal weekly discussions here of course. Just could use the group for things we want to keep off forum.

Ok Sunday meet Westcott 10am opposite Nirvana on the green, going to go Ranmore first then out towards peaslake probably winterfold, so may well be able to do wedgy on the way.

going to do some of the downhill bits over winterfold way( dependant on how we get on ) This could be a fairly long one just to warn you.
May well change the plan if the weather is poo all the way through till then, the weather forecast is looking fairly unsettled but possibly ok for Sunday
However if plans change we can still meet westcott as its a good location to go to several directions.
Suits me. Sunday it is and will see how it goes on the DH bits!

Will see what Saturday is like also, but may just be cleaning bike (shock!) and bits & pieces if it's chucking it down.

Yeah, I can understand the desire not to be :D

It's just at the moment to make arrangements for the wales/wherever trip rather than flooding the thread with loads of chat about who's going in what car etc. Though old fashioned technology like email or even the phone could be just as good.
    Helter?
Where is Helter these days? Don't think I've seen the new steed yet!

Friday's good too, when and where?

Meet Peaslake main carpark and do a loop of a few things I have not done for ages.

Is that the one where we've parked before , just up past the little bike shop on one side & the pub on the other ? As in Walking Bottom ?

Out for this weekend, working late shifts.

Suppose Helter is knocked out in drunken state somewhere around the night clubs. Man needs a -Divine Inspiration- or some sort of awakening, maybe he just felt in love?

Supra I-phone is an I-phone, no matter which model it's still the real deal.
Thel33ter, you will fail with Anroid phone, you know that.

Update on plan for Wales and beyond.

So far it's a 2 leg trip. Stage 1 with some going on Friday 5th and some on 6th, to N.Wales. Stage 2 is some may go on from there on 8th to Scotland, returning on the 10th. The rest returning on the 7th.

So far 2 cars and 5 of us going.

    I think.

Though it's all getting rather late and we haven't sorted B&Bs out or anything like that.

    [nerd mode]

I probably would fail with an Anroid phone, but an Android phone, jailbroken, overclocked and with custom firmware will pwn any iPhone :D And once I've finished typing this I may go use the Gameboy Advance emulator, or the Playstation 1 emulator 8)

We are starting from Westcott, across from Nirvana Cycles, around 10, then going to Peaslake via Ranmore I think, so if you got there about lunchtime (12 ish) we would probably meet up. But then when we head back toward Westcott, that would give you a bit of a late ride to get yourself back to Peaslake, although along the road - A25 it's not too far.
    PM me your number.
Been looking forward to trying out the La Z Boy, looks like I won't get a chance this weekend. You are a lousy salesman.
