Mind you the guy who flew into cameraman was riding MTB first time in his life, did allright on that day.

As for part2 due to not knowing how adaptors work on chesty mount, video's were very shaky although they do give you some nice sense of speed. Also need some experimenting with photos edited into Video footage. Glad you horrible lot appreciate my hard work at videos.

Thel33ter, Cooldad is quick on rigid singlespeed especially on climbs. Therefore, I may and shall not disturb his territory.

Nicely edited :). Takes a lot of effort just to post process photos. Think it would take me ages to edit videos.

The black run just seems so tame in the video. From my point of view over the rocks at the end a lot of big drops off rocks were facing me, and yet looking at that video I could have just let it roll and it would have been no problem at all. Really is all in the mind I think.

Well, video takes a lil longer to make.

In all honesty talking about techy sections, seeing yourself from 3rd POV makes you realize what you doing wrong. DKenny and Apprentice2 both were on the brakes no matter what and stiff/tense, that surely is a sign for bad times.

Was a bit surprised to see Redmans smoke Supras back there, the man has got courage and -Cojones.

  • oh i can see i've become a lazy rider... well its good having some guys faster, pulls you upwards rather than other way round...

actually the only time when I actually felt in my "zone" was on the last skyline DH.

Ill be returning secretly with my french mate soon. to try out and correct a few lines.

And I ll put the pads on this time, that was as fast as I d go with out the pads.

i do need to get more riding in you ride like 3 times a week.. i ve rode 3 times since july.... :?

And redmans rides well, not the fastest on the climbs, but more than makes up on the downs.

I like the style especially when we jump of the rocks side by side on a proper piece of single track....

Well, white's black run offers you to take air off those stones. Depends if you see and want to have a go on them, they are a good teaser. Skyline isn't as steep but boy is it fast. You get air naturally there without realising.
Air* -front wheel taking off, it's too early to freeride. Wish I could join one of Richards radical rides. Limited to very early rides this weekend. Hopefully will hook an early bird to ride with me.
Supra don't you dare to train on Skyline, that's not fair!

Oh you nasty trolls. After Sunday Brambling around Skyline in order to shortcut it, and all our adventures there we finally reached Skyline's final sections of descent. Man does that bit properly flow. In my opinion it's around 5km of pure fast n flowing singletrack with slabs of rocks as a launching pads into air. God damn it did we enjoy it. Black run at whites maybe a little more techy only on final section but nowhere does it flow the same as Skyline's final sections. All pieces I have learnt from Jedi I finally managed to apply them without robotical thinking and boy did it flow so good. Had couple of problems of back wheel throwing me out at some places but guess just was going too fast and forcing front wheel to land too soon.

It did felt so good at attacking those slabs of rocks full speed without touching brakes, you do understand what Full Suss is for.

Dkenny pix or it didn't happen. I will work on video tomorrow.

Take it you like that final down then !!! thats why its my favorite.

What time you riding Saturday ?

Who is up for saturday morning ?

My plan is either Ranmore and leith including Redlands, so fairly techy with jumps and roll ins but all with chicken runs. This would be a meet in Westcott ride.

Or Pitch, winterfold, holmbury, with less tech although plan to ride "Wedgy" wihich is really steep track down to the pub and " sleepy Hollow" roll ins and then over to winterfold for "judges seat drops " ( optional ) and then few tracks over there.

Either will need to be a 08.30 meet with 09.00 latest I can leave as i have to be back for lunch time.

Whos in?What is your prefered option?

Saturday's probably fine, don't really mind which route, although the more fast singletrack the better.

You lot, long skirted jessies go for gnarliest route Richard can offer. That will serve you well, shame on me I start work at 10.00 so will miss all that -Rad Awesomeness. Think will scrap some very early ride 6.00 just to keep my legs warm.

At least there is a very fine man, Redman that is who has got camera to film you horrible lot. Recently I have bought multi-card reader from Jessops £15 and that saves a lot of time with cables and all kind of different cameras. Highly recommended.
