Will probably do repairs on bike Saturday, so just out Sunday.

Music. http://www.last.fm/user/tj_moore. That's just stuff that last.fm has tracked over the last few years. My full collection is at home. I'm looking to get a NAS server to stick it all on. Half a terrabyte's worth of music and haven't finished ripping all my CDs.

Not that all of it is any good for bike vids :D

Carbonfiend there is some bunch who wishes to explore Epping, think 4 or so riders live somewhere close down that way. Sounds as you the one who knows his onions there.

Speaking of myself know only Swinley and SH a bit.

DKenny its hard time for me to sort out choice of music now, god it's hard time now recovering all music. Don't even know many artist names.

All is gone, even bank details and passwords. Not sure, but plaisir told me some things could be recovered. The b@tch is in France atm and I can't log onto bank lol. So yeah, all start afresh. Those previous vids are on vimeo anyway, +backed up last Cwmcarn and Afan trips. No worries atm I am working on your faceplant!

Depends on which forum and how many people and what time ;)

More seriously, I'm on a limited timeframe anyway so it's really up to the other guys as I'm going to be just there to get some riding in and then get home again in a slightly more selfish than social sort of way.

Just before upload Cwmcarn movie -Airstream- give me a clue what I can mix with Prodigy -smack my b@tch up- ... need something solid and intense, it's a puzzle atm for me to find something appropriate.

If before Prodigy... "DJ Shadow - Transmission 2", 1m26 of intro lushness.
If after Prodigy.... could go "Chemical Brothers - Life is Sweet" or a completely different direction but awesome all the same... "Daft Punk - Da Funk".... :D

Arghh, movie is in progress. DKenny was desperate to see himself, shame didn't catch all heroics. Myself went nearly over the bars while hitting the rock and slipping out of pedal, while at the same time being launched at table top. Atz witnessed it!

Think I can rework movie afterwards, and for now the link is here.

    Teasing you a bit ...

Please forgive my shoot skillz at shooting video, some parts of it a bit juddery. Still learning to ride and film. Some -Euro- style of music, but I warned of my poor taste, nevertheless it's intensive enough to make you lot ride fast* . DKenny is my hero ! Nearly killed Helter with that GT ?

It's at 20% directly uploading on upgraded vimeo.

Nice! Look at that bike fly over the edge, nearly on Helter's head

Good job I chucked myself off as I was heading over the edge too and that would have been nasty!

Forgot about your seat snap. There were many other tumbles that day that would have been good on video.

Shame about the PC. Is the old hard disc just dead then? You haven't reformatted it? It might be recoverable. If it's not spinning up properly, one tip is to chuck it in a zip-lock bag and stick it in the freezer! Supposedly they can spin up better, at least long enough to copy data off.

Hehh, that HDD in your hands = Love!

Really need to start filming+photo again, to sharpen up skillz. There is Cwmcarn trip on cards (2 day if preffered)21-22.08 or 30th as a bank holiday.

That GT double flipped too, proper bouncy bike* god bless if helter was under it. Lucky not.

Hi. New to this thread but the SH posts dotted all over the forum have led me to look into exploring from Peaslake tommorow. Reckon I'll be there for 9am kickoff (after a quick browse-turned-spree in the cycle shop).

Red/white/black Fuji hardtail with bright red pedals if you see me... For those that are out in the afternoon... I'll be tired and lost, have mercy and please point me in the direction home :P ....

Jedi, the plan of video is well made. Would like to see it in real lfie. Skilled like that, is a perfect CV to work in circus :D . Wow. Guess it takes so much of effort to keep up and maintain that place. That shore is a dream come true for ATZ, while other riders would be just scared of that -Rad. Oops , spoke out too soon.

Buckaroo, SH is easy to navigate around, especially if you get a map from shop. I would break it in 2 parts of riding. Climb on top of Pitch Hilll, and ride T-Trails all the way down to car park. Break at Peaslake then head off to Holmbury hill, climb it, start off with Yog Pots, then Telegraph Road, then gentle climb back to the middle of hill and finish off your ride with BKB. Check it on map, it's dead easy and quality ride too.

Sweet. Thanx mate, looking forward to a good blast.

And the Cwmcarn vid is cool man, nice 1. I wish I'd gone back up to hit the black Airstream when I was there, just wasnt sure if I had the energy... next time.

Back from our epic Wales trip.

We rode The Wall, Whytes Level and Gorlech at Brechfa Forest.

On Monday the Wall was fantastic, especially Zigzag. It seemed to go on for ever, but Cooldad got a pinchflat just as he got his speed up. We had to get going to get to the camp-site before 'the Apprentice's' crash though.

Then it rained, lots, and lots and lots, but we rode Whytes anyway. I loved the climb, black bit and the descent, the downhill was too rocky for Cooldad's HT but we made it down.

Then Wednesday we went to Brefcha and did the Red run. It was still damp, but had dried out well, and was a fantastic trail, very smooth and flowy, and had berms that made BKB look tiny.

But then on the last berm (going very slowly, and it was perfectly smooth) this happened... look at the front wheel closely.

    4869255597_960a45ab16_b.jpg

So we pushed back to the car
I though it just needed some truing, so I popped the tyre off, but that didn't help much.
    4869229147_ce2e375a02_b.jpg

Turns out 350 gram race rims don't like being hammered and jumped too much  It had cracked at the join.

So on Thursday we headed out to the beach for some fish and chips (only sunny day we had too, apart from Monday) And picked up a wheel so we could ride Cwmcarm on Friday, ended up costing £50 for a junky wheel and new disc

And then Friday, It chucked down like hell and all my clothes were wet, so we gave up on riding Cwmcarm and get hope sharpish, dry socks never felt so good.

All in all it was a great week :D

Cwmcarm sound good if I can convince Cooldad, and you aren't a million hours late

Cool, sounds like a fun time. Seems Wales claims victims every time, whether it's people or bikes :D.

Would like to check out The Wall.
