So next weekend deff Surrey hills, but this time riding -amuse bush-, DH ,Summer Lighting, Play area, Deliverance and Desert. All is manageable under 2 hours. Second part after break you gang plan ... could be Redlands if weather allow!

That would be raddest ride doode?! No them silly berms etc, just all nice riding with gap jumps drops etc Supra's style.
Summer Lightning is all messed up I think. Or at least the trees have gone in one or more sections.

Think some call it Deerstalker 2. Left branch being Deerstalker 1.

Everyone has different names for them though.

How about calling them Spam, Spam, Baked Beans and Spam?

Deerstalker was dug out some time after labyrinth; when I first started riding in Swinley deerstalker was just being cut into the hill and opened a bit later (I got told about it by the bloke who fitted my rebas for me).

English Translation - Leith Hill next weekend. Consisting of an amuse-bouche (I can do french me) of DH stuff.

    Correct.

Do wear some sort of protection, you will need it. Hope cravings of airslaves will be fixed.

AmuseBush and Desert are the names of new trails we've found with Supra.

Geez, it's a a single, bite-sized hors d’œuvre. Interesting thing about them is that you normally don't order them, the chef decides if you get 'em, as a taster of his skillz

Thel33ter correct, you will get a taster and desert to your riding in peculiar way, those trails aren't long but they are exquisite*

I think popstar means amuse bouche (as l33ter said) and dessert, given supra's native tongue. Anyway, chances are I'll be elsewhere as it seems a super casual ride to show friends and friends of friends around Swinley is on the cards.

I'm bad with official names, so can't exactly tell. Only know whereabouts. Play-area reffered to trails near deliverance, other nice trails near Tower and jump gully, while DH type right in the middle of hill with drops and gap jumps. Summer Lighting has got few modifications to it with mini berms and multiple jumps on DH version*.

Decent XC ride with Frenchy today, nice weather, a decent pace and the new Stickler was great fun. Plus a good photo opportunity :D

It's the pillbox in Sandhurst, about 5 mins away from the top of Dear Stalker ect. It's just been redecorated since I was last there

I've also heard the name Waggledance for that area.

Looks like I'll be at Swinley Sunday morning with a few relative newbies to MTB so more exciting stuff is out for me.

BTW, apparently there's about a million pounds about to be spent on trails and skill areas for Afan and Cwmcarn. Afan will get some lower-end trails, Cwmcarn will get a new DH run.

So long as it's not spending money on "new" trails and improvements which end up being tame trails to replace the existing stuff. That's what they did at Haldon Forest down in Devon. Spanking new trail that they boasted about being highly advanced and technical, but was nothing more than a more advanced family friendly XC trail, and ripped up the old red/black trails & northshore in the process :(. And they built a skills area too, and it's joke.

Though I'd expect there'd be quite an outrage if they messed up Afan & Cwmcarn.

Talking of Afan, is Penhydd trail open yet or due open soon? Been about a year since it closed.

Unless you bomb SH trails proper, there is no need for them Penhyyd jobie to visit.

Surrey Hills on sunday sounds good to me....3 days of office based drudgery to go
