it was a great pleasure today to ride, even though was lone. it was realy great at Swinley today, dry and warm, sometimes even sunny.
I was just riding without any knownladge of the tracks but eventually found many cool ones.

Shait, you lot are so lucky. Myself working this weekend and moving house. Please wish me a good luck to move all furniture and boxes. Hope little one won't scream either.

Finally days are longer and spring is blossoming. Injuries heal, so all would be ready for massive trip to conquer Snowdon. I'm saving monies for FF and Reverb.

    FF?

And I'd be looking at reviews of the reverb. Seems the reliability that they're using as a selling point may not be there after all. Quite a few reports of problems.

Wouldn't want those delicate popstar features rearranged.

Royal luxury to the bike and disaster to your pocket coz you spend a lot of time looking at your bike and thinking about upgrades :)

Just get a ks post from superstar, they are some of the cheapest, and get generally good reviews.

Good ride today BTW. I think the pace being quicker than our usual is probably a good thing too, much better for the legs

Good ride but quick pace? Was a gentle pootle. We need to get into shape for our upcoming summer epics.

I had a good ride at Pitch and Holmbury today. Found a really nice new trail from the top of Pitch...lots of soft berms and switchbacks. It was good to ride dry trails for a change.

I'm busy both days, apart from maybe Sunday afternoon, so we probably won't make it to SH this weekend.

    Hi L33ter,

Haven't been on the forums for a while, are group rides going through a quiet phase due to te cold?

If it doesn't rain it'll be awesome, it was so dry at the weekend, stunning contrast from last weekend, Peaslake was about the busiest I've ever seen it!

I really enjoyed riding on Sunday. Plenty of grip but still some softness so it didn't feel like riding on cement (and no dust either for the eyes).

This weekend I've got Jedi on Saturday so prob not riding Sunday.

For what it's worth, I'll def be up for a ride on the weekend. Still getting my tallboy up to speed and need some serious time in the saddle. If anyone fancies it let me know. Living in Gomshall right now so am only 10m from Peaslake.

Mainly cause of the mud, Swinley has been a favourite for a while.

Probably gonna be trying the SS on Sunday afternoon at Swinley (3rd chain lucky  )

Have to agree, the mud did surprise me on Saturday, very very thick and my Maxxis Ardents got found out really quickly. Can be fun locking the rear and sliding around like a maniac though

I don't think it's got that quiet. I think there's been rides every week recently we just have a couple of people on holiday or with new kids.

Still it is pretty cold especially early morning. I got a text from Richard saying he may be up for something next weekend so we'll have to see.

Good luck with the Jedi skills, I remember Popstar tried to get me to use Jedi and at the time I couldn't find the time. Saw some of his videos and he comes across as a good coach but a brilliant psychologist as well.
