I tried signing up for that forum a couple of days ago but couldn't manage to as when I tried to register it kept telling me that something was wrong with my details.
Not much hope for me if I can't even sign up for an internet forum, is there

If you're around at weekends, just hop on a train and meet us. During the weeks I think we're mostly working

 I use the same account for everything, haven't found a site that doesn't like my combination yet.

That whole forum is a major pain to use, and that's the only thread which seems to get used.

Hey all howya doing, long time no see!

I'm back on the road bike right now fully recovered from my horrific crash (thanks popstar) and doing around 20 commuting miles per day. Bike wise I decided not to go with a stumpy as the xxl looked like it was built for an 8ft giant instead of a 6'5'' mere mortal like me.

Plumped for a SC tallboy (will e paying this off for 10 years, trust me) and should hopefully have it fully built by end of Jan with some nice and not so nice parts (fingers crossed)

Looking for some decent second hand flat pedals and a Gobi saddle, so if anyone has some and wants to sell 'em on please let me know.

Hopefully hook up with you guys soon! Oh yeah, I've had some bizarre text messages from Mr Popstar, something about him applying for a job in a mental home...

    Cooldad,

Have you given up smoking? Or is that going to be your resolution for 2011.

    He had better have

It was part of the deal buying the Kona, so I may go back up to 4 bikes if he hasn't :D

Popstar would make a great counsellor type.

It's more polite and civil on there. Hence the inactivity

Big on Swinley, and a few who know Tunnel Hill and Ceasars Camp well.

Those who tarr Popstar, I may issue you lot 200 lashes each.

-Welshkev, to ride MTBike in London isn't very good idea. Although there are some nice canal paths around to enjoy but hence I live in WLondon not East would give it a pass.

Think recovering Naveed is somewhere there in SELondon not too far away from you and the man knows his onions in those parts. There is only short trip on train from there (15min) by train to Surrey Hills but about that you would have to speak to the man himself.

Would love to join you lot on trails but I am now on stand-by mode expecting Popstarlet. Can't even get pissed this New Year.

So, happy New Year all ... next year you may join ranks of Rad Doode's talking proper -Shiz!

Good luck when it happens Popstar. Enjoy the calm before the storm, you've got two decades of noise ahead of you ;)

Welshkev - What Popstar said... if you're going to be in London over the weekend, ride to waterloo and get the train out to Dorking (or closer in depending who is driving from where) and ride somewhere a bit more fun.

With all the mud, 15 miles is a struggle, so it will be quite a leisurely ride.

Meet at 10 at Walking Bottom as usual.

2nd will need to be an early one for me so I may be there when you arrive at 10am. I'm hoping it freezes over.

Oh, and on the passportes, how much pedalling up is there? I'm on for a long weekend in France but I'd prefer sitting on chairlifts for climbing rather than spinning ;)
  • I should be able to make Sunday. Will be great seeing you all again.

(Anyone know the solution to a leaking dampener (right leg) on some RS Revs? I think it needs tightening....)

oil leak? Usually new seals unless you've had it apart recently and messed up putting it back together.
