I would be, but I have about £50 at the moment, and new tyres also cost around £50

Plus they don't bother timing the junior races or anything, which makes it seem pretty pointless.

    I'm going!

If you want to enter I'd do so soon, they tend to fill up!

l33ter - Just say you're older than you are if you want timings. Who's to know/care?

Not going to take tomorrow off to ride. Given the state of the snow here, it'll be horrible and slushy and that's not fun

I'll have you know I resemble that statement.

If it was a weekend I'd ride, but I'm not burning a day off for a bad ride, not when I could take that same day off and do a Wales run when the conditions aren't as dull.

Fair enough. I'm off anyway. It should be horribly muddy. I made a neo guard thingy out of an inner tube, so will be a good test. Looks really rubbish.

Huh? There's 2hr Junior Mens results here.

All races are timed and results posted, they're not selective! It's mainly automated these days anyway.

Stop making excuses and go along! I've not trained properly in about 6 weeks and I'm gonna go and have a laugh!

I'd be in this category, which ain't timed. Maybe next time.

I love the fact you're linking them like you assume one of us wants them. You KNOW what bikes all of us have and I think the only people capable of using them already have big nice forks ;)

Yea, but DK was saying something about building a hardtail, and these are the perfect forks for a gnarly Bungalistic style bike.

Or I put the forks I've got on the HT and get new forks for the GT or... get a new full sus :D (GT would only take 140 max I think).

Off to the tropics of South Devon myself. A baking hot 6 degrees by Sunday. No chance of a white Christmas there then. Seems I missed the big South Devon snow event.

Anyway, work sadly tomorrow, then travelling. Hoping to be around at new year for a ride.

What about new year drinks also?

DK - They're talas, you could just wind them down a notch.

The GT will take 150 fine, or wind them 3 clicks down and they will be 141mm travel.

If you look at the results, there's clearly results for a junior category! There's only one, so there's not a timed one and a non timed one!

Sorry for lack of coms about not being out last weekend but ended up working ( like a bitch) as the airport was not over the snow etc.

Hope you all have a great Xmas and New year and will see you in a few weeks after the holiday period and in need of losing weight !!!!!

My wife wasn't impressed seeing my face after my recent crash though. Think it was my last blood shed on trails this year. But jumping was good fun. Didn't realise I could ride in jump gully so smooth, while Labirynth trails were very different story.

Berms, table tops, jumps, table top then overshooting it all flying high into air landing awkardly into berm flying over bars and being stopped by trees didn't go well in my case. Never mind Plaisir found a pile of bike on top of me, at least his face reminded me of a person taking crap. His eyes were huge, luckily didn't pop out seeing me lying there.

But snowy trails are tricky business. Lot's of crushes + lots of fun. Merry Christmas and a Happy new year to all !

@Andy - I'm working Wednesday to Friday, but apart from that am around if you want to arrange something. Think most of the guys are either away or intending to be drunk and/or lazy though.

@Stan too - maybe arrange something Monday or Tuesday - work off some excess pies. Monday is best for me.
